My friends asked me to take there bikes up to Sturges but my equipment was not ready , now i have a 45’ flatbed with AirRide. Let me know if you need help
Love the videos….I’ve decided to get out of big trucks and into a SC. Primarily, I’d be focused on pulling a 4/5 car trailer that is a step deck style design so that I can lay it flat and haul general freight in a pinch. My question. What engine are you pulling with? If its the Cummins, does it pull hard enough for you? What’s you GCVWR and how are you scaling? Thanks!!
@@adventuresintrucking1995 thanks for the quick response!! I’m shopping them at the moment and having trouble deciding on this or the BB 450 horse model. How are you doing with the enclosed.
@@bobbylee5216 still havent got it on the road yet probably a few more weeks on it! If you can swing the big block i say why not if you cant the 8.3L cummins or 8.9L will be sufficient. I saw a SC with a 6 car and he wasnt struggling at all .. he flew by me 😂
For sure, the big block will have the power. There is a SUBSTANTIAL increase in the price for it though. Our experience has been that this truck acts more like a big truck than it does a Dually truck. Everything is just bigger and more lumbering BUT it is NOT underpowered in my opinion. You just can’t rush it. Sometimes I do hold it in 5th gear ( keeping an eye on the RPM’s not to over rev it) uphill just to keep it from shifting into 6th and lugging the engine. Don’t get me wrong, it will lug around at 13-1500 rpm, just don’t expect it to be quick. It is still in a good torque range though. And of course it is an automatic transmission, so there is that. All said, if you’re expectations are reasonable, you should be happy.
We definitely can make arrangements to do so, however would need some more information. We also will need a minimum number of bikes as well to make the trip. If you have some buddies that all want to make the trip it would be a lot easier to put this thing together for everyone. Definitely let us know.
Ah ok.. well just let us know what you want to do and just keep in mind all the factors listed above. Of course you can reach out to us at Precisiontransportsystems@yahoo.com for a more detailed conversation whenever
I had comments turned off by accident!! If youve already seen the video and are seeing this now and had a comment please comment below!!- HSS

We have the 8.3L Cummins and we have no issues with power at all. We had 24k on the trailer last week and had no struggles. And our GCWR is 49,500.

@@jamesedwards396 I appreciate the input….I assume you’re talking about the “small block” correct?
That's my idea! LOL, glad you getting it started, I ride so i'd love to that very thing.
