The old kpop songs with just a couple million views were HUGE deals back in the day when KPop was still just getting thousands of views. - The view counts listed are cumulative, meaning they don't show their impact of the time they were released. For example, BTS's first song is almost 300M today even though it was kinda a flop when it actually came out. So these numbers mean practically nothing when it comes to figuring out what was actually influential at that time. - Many older KPop songs have since been reuploaded officially once it became clear that RUclips was becoming the main KPop distributor, so it's best to just ignore the views of these MVs entirely. - All in all, these videos are fun to look at for shits and giggles, but no one should actually be taking them seriously when it comes to figuring out how popular or influential a group is in the grand scheme of the industry.
You know damn well bts came from the bottom, no big3 no huge agency, had 5 dollars and a dream plus barely had a fanbase back when they debuted in 2013 so saying its a flop is very unnecessary given their circumstances........

For me, art goes much further.... What's sad, however, is the low visibility, unfortunately, many artists can't even get into any type of rank and with that it's harder to be known, so I'm happy for the groups here... .. How happy to see Vixx, one of the kings of the concept, (I'll highlight the chokers and of course the wonderful costume in Shangri-la , The end of the year performance they did was history for me, it gave me goosebumps, it was beautiful) Ps: I'm happy that I know 90% of the groups.
Yh, vixx were crazy popular in the charts of sk back then. But they're now so underrated as these videos don't capture them. Always high quality in music and mvs and ofc the concepts. Even their late comeback is amazing

a group doesn’t represent a label..most of these agencies have more groups under them but they don’t gain as much views and attention, you guys are obviously new to kpop and that’s totally okay. Just know that most of these groups have b-sides that you’ll probably like, you just don’t know about them yet. And put some respect on Astro 😭 they’re a talented a group and have worked really hard to get where they are now.
IZ*ONE is iconic and they were wildly popular at the time but since it is a temporary group you don't hear about them anymore, groups like IVE and LE SSERAFIM have past members of this group and the others are doing solo and acting or back in their old groups

Izone are the 4th gen leader…they already disbanded because they were only temporary group. They are literal legend. They broke records left and right when they were active. If they are still active they will still be top in 4th gen , cause there are so many talented members in the group , very synchronized, super down to earth and very funny. ps: There are so many legendary groups, none of them are nugu, they are popular popular before new gens group have even form , especially in Korea, ofc it’s kpop , it’s meant to be popular in Korea.

How happy to see Vixx, one of the kings of the concept, (I'll highlight the chokers and of course the wonderful costume in Shangri-la , The end of the year performance they did was history for me, it gave me goosebumps, it was beautiful)

Yh, vixx were crazy popular in the charts of sk back then. But they're now so underrated as these videos don't capture them. Always high quality in music and mvs and ofc the concepts. Even their late comeback is amazing

a group doesn’t represent a label..most of these agencies have more groups under them but they don’t gain as much views and attention, you guys are obviously new to kpop and that’s totally okay. Just know that most of these groups have b-sides that you’ll probably like, you just don’t know about them yet. And put some respect on Astro 😭 they’re a talented a group and have worked really hard to get where they are now.
