    Oh god! The whale/shark thing cracked me up! How do you like that type of sander vs a normal ROS?

      I love it Brad! It's a little less forgiving but if your careful it removes stock nice and quick!

    In South Arkansas, we find these “cane knives” to be quite useful to take on early season hunts. They’re light enough to pack along, but the thin flex blade, with hook, is just the thing to clear away the Summer’s accumulation of weeds, tall grass and vines from around stands, blinds and shooting lanes. They’re readily touched up with a chainsaw file in the field, when they dull. I’ve wept over mine, a good one, that was laid down and lost. Orange spray paint would’a fixed that...
    Nice fix-up, hang onto it and use it even if you don’t hunt😁👍❗️

    I liked the whale better than murder tool but either way it looks great

    The "eye hook" makes it extra scary! I bet you could chop some pumpkins with it!

      Yes it's super sharp, I cut my finger on it when I pushed the blade into the handle!

    So that's what that weird machete/knife thing I got is. Mine is in much worse shape and will probably get cut into smaller pieces to make other tools. Nice to know what it originally looked like, though.

      It's quite hard steel, so it should be good for other projects!

    It's a cane knife, mate. Used for cutting sugar cane before motorised cane cutting machines were invented. It also had a lot of other uses too. The hook was used to pull the cane stalks towards the man cutting it. 👍👍👍👍👍🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺

      I have a similar one, but of much heavier steel, and called a ‘corn knife’, used for cutting corn stalks to assemble into shooks. That one looks far too flimsy for that though. Kitchen use?

      I think the blade is too thin for that, I have a billhook and it's way heavier duty

    Yeah, because when you think of a machete made for sugar cane, Germany is the first country that comes to mind...

    It is a skinning knife. Watch wild boar skinning videos to know better.

      @FixitRestoreit  3 года назад +1

      I think you will find that although you may have seen it being used for skinning, it was actually made for cutting sugar cane - have a look on google
