It's basically the same research as child actors, celebrity children and the like.
@@reinegrace7045 i feel like it's somewhat different. youtube kids don't have labor laws to protect them, so a lot of family vlogger kids are "on the job" practically 24/7. Plus child actors at least get to go home from sets, events, etc. and mostly be off camera. RUclips kids are having their entire lives filmed, inside their own homes, the place that's meant to be their safe spot. it's their real lives and real moments that are being published online, not them playing a character. although, the exploitation by their parents for fame/money seems similar unfortunately ☹️

@@reinegrace7045 child actors have a job with special protection. Family vlogger kids have no their whole private life documented ob one. So many report bullying in school for everything being broadcasted online (that’s why so many family vloggers start home schooling)
@@reinegrace7045 how much do you know about child actors’ personal/private information? What they do in their free time? What their rooms look like? When they went to the doctor? None of it because when they’re acting for movies or tv shows, they’re only acting for the part. It isn’t their actual real lives being displayed for the whole world to see. There isn’t any piece of information about these family vlogging kids lives that viewers don’t know. Everything is out there for everyone to know. When these kids grow up and apply for jobs, their employers can look back at every little detail of their lives. It will follow them everywhere. It’s not okay

This is so true, hits on everything that family vloggers do. They exploit their kids for money. I hope more people see this video.
They even hit on the one family, who will remain nameless, that used to "prank" their kids.
@@ibelieveilltakeanap The worst family is the Stauffer family who “rehomed” their adopted son after 3 years because they didn’t want to deal with his autism. They cashed in on his adoption and years of exploiting him on their channel. Makes you wonder what babies must be thinking never seeing mom and dad without a camera in their face. The saddest part is a lot of them know that predators watch their kids and still keep them up there, even trying to give them their own Instagrams. No one knows the damage this is going to cause in the future. I would’ve been mortified if my friends could go look online at me getting potty trained, getting the period talk, and other embarrassing moments when we’re teenagers. The money can’t be worth the damage to the kids.

Utah families are statistically bigger. Family vlogging income just incentivizes them to have more too.
I've seen too many of these RUclips family vlogs from my girls who are almost 12 and 6.5 to know that this is so true. These YT family vlogs just share like every. single. detail. of. their. lives with the whole world. It's kinda ridiculous, but people watch that kind of stuff, so this vid is relatable
