Question I thought the rainbow was a symbol of the covenant to the Jewish people. Please correct me if I’m wrong I do not practice Christianity or Judaism this is just what I’ve been told from my research

This was a covenant that God made between Himself and Noah, promising to never to destroy the Earth by a flood again, as far as I am aware 🙏

My second grade teacher had a dog named Sparky that would get loose, run the 3 miles into town and show up at our classroom door damn near everyday. Love growing up in the country.

I grew up on a ranch, lived in a city for a couple years, and now I live in the suburbs. I’d say this is all very accurate!

I grew up on a small farm in a rural town. Just last week I watched my mother talk to our neighbor on our landline phone and discuss the tractor breaking. My mom sets catch and release traps for the entire neighborhood. When the WiFi goes down we got to the local McDonald’s to use theirs. As a kid I walked to our barn to get eggs in the morning. All of that is to say god damn this is accurate
I grew up in the country. My family moved into town when I was in high school. I actually wished for a bigger town! Fast forward to my age now: thrilled to have bought a small country property! I love it and the people out here.

Fun story- my aunt was at a party and some lady was bragging about a secret ingredient in her cookies. After everyone had tried them she finally revealed she had made them with breast milk 🤮🤮. My days of eating at potlucks are over. 🤢😂😂

From someone who recently moved from Orange County ( where I grew up) to Missouri…this is pretty spot on. I can relate a little bit to both. “ going into town” highlight of the day! Lol Love living in the country.
My mom (Granny to my kids) just gave me the, “Honey, I need to know what size his feet are before Monday, because that’s the last day we’ll be goin’ into town before Christmas.” They live in a village of under 150 people in a large brick house almost 200 years old, and they are “village folk”, because they aren’t farmers! 😁 Rural Ontario!
I was raised in more of the country lifestyle until about 8, I’m 17 now and I can still relate to more of the country stuff than the city life.
Well, going into town is the highlight of my week......

As a native new yorker, I see this all the time and I'm guessing it's usually people that are not from here. But I wear beanies too because it's just comfortable to wear even though I might look like a hipster to some people. Idgaf anyways lol. I live In the city but I have a country heart and mind. Especially since my dad grew up in the farms and countryside.
The 2 hour trip to the store made me laugh so hard! It's so true. The closest grocery store to my home is nearly a 40 min drive away. There's a tiny store about 15 mins away but everything costs double. Sometimes I'm not sure it's worth it then I remember the other option is city life so....
