      Debbie Excell what time of the year did u plant the vines ?

    • @debbieexcell5088
      @debbieexcell5088 4 года назад +2

      @@arlindbujari4877 I got the grape vine on March 5. I followed the instructions and set them in water. By March 17, the vines were growing leaves. Another 2 weeks and all had roots of varying stages.
      I planted them in soil around April 20. So far they have remained constant - no changes, no additional leaves.
      According to research done, grapes do well in a southern exposure and that's where I placed them.

    • @arlindbujari4877

      Debbie Excell oh ok because i left mine in water just three days ago so im waiting and hoping they will start to root

    • @debbieexcell5088
      @debbieexcell5088 4 года назад +1

      @@arlindbujari4877 I had gotten a long vine from a neighbor. As long as u follow carefully the instructions on cutting them, u will do well. The neighbor also kept insisting that I remember which end is up r down. I used all of the vine, both the hardwood section and the greener younger sections.
      I found too in my experiment that leaving the leaves attached r removing them did not significantly matter. Also some will grow roots at different rates.
      I wish u success. 👍
