Good job 👍 expansion joints are supposed to be framed for originally . To often people don’t want to see them but they have a purpose . For long runs in drywall .
I've got an exterior ceiling with truss roof. 45ft long by 10ft wide with a crack across the center. Trusses are 24 on center and I can't attach to the trusses on each side. Framed to tight at edges to hit with screws. Do I need to open ceiling and add blocking between the trusses to attach the expansion joint a d should I use plastic or metal expansion joint? I t gets hot as hell here in the summer . Arizona. US
brilliant example of exceptional workmanship

Don't you sponge down the surface after sanding before paint? I always do that.

yeah definetly cut a half inch gap in the drywall running along the crack. Pop your expansion joint in. Either is fine plastic or metal
@@Maxkil Thanks, I ended up running two sets of blocking across the joists with about 1/4" space between, then used 1/4" crown staples to attach it.
what is the spray?
niceeeee
Do you add accelerant to the top Coat?
