@@KPsTboy Behringers modules have front panels that attach to the PCBs with metal standoffs that are part of the panel. They aren’t secured with nuts on jacks, pots or buttons, so there’s no easy way to swap a panel. I suppose you could add standoffs, but then there would be a few screw heads in the middle of the front of the panel.
OZ do you know if the module can be updated? Quite a number of Emilie's modules have had community updates to her code. Considering the pricing of the Behringer versions they could become very affordable development platforms.
Great question. The answer is "No, it's not a firmware based module. It's all analog (except perhaps for some of the routing, which may use digitally controlled analog switches.)". I have not studied the schematics. p.s. check out the patch_init() from electrosmith.com it's a reasonablly priced ($199) development platform with high quality audio i/o. ruclips.net/video/HOjqQYlDj2U/видео.html
exceptional video Professor.. this one didn't really pop up on my radar.. I prefer 12db over 24db filters and think the moog 24db ladder filter is an overrated bass killer.. I have a lot of 12db eurorack filters but think this one could be next on my list.. will watching this video again for clarification.. thank you.. 🇺🇲👍
nice video! just ordered mine last night. looking forward to having this in the rack
Thank you OZ!
thanks for watching!
Module is fully analog circuitry. No firmware updates needed
Exactly . Thx
I want one! Didn’t realize they were shipping already.
Yes. I had pre-ordered and got it in last weekend.
Thank You! Have to buy one now at that price. $99
Thanks! The price is right!
Who's going to make aftermarket panels though?
Good question.
You can't swap Behringer panels because of the way they are manufactured. At least that's how their other clones are.
@@dasvoid1 Thx for that info!
@@dasvoid1 How is it that it can't be swapped? Have they used nails, are spacers welded to the panel?
