Things one got in years past on a Road Glide or Electra Glide that came standard (Before Harley put profit ahead of their customer): Passenger floorboards. Rear saddlebag crash bars with wrap around rails. Front fender light and trim. Front fender skirt. Front fender script name. Aux front lights (Electra Glide). No glitch analog gauges. Separate front/rear turn signals. Tour Pac. Rear bumper with fender light. 2 real shocks in the rear.
Hello Jess, just wanted to say, I added a chrome door trim to my windshield. When it rains, it does wick the rain to the side so it does not come over and hit me. I was amazed how well it works. The trim does come in chrome and black.

sat through the first 30 seconds with no audio trying to figure out the problem. All the while assuming the answer to the question will be yes and I finally realize my hearing aid battery died. 😂 😂 Yay for getting old

Well, some boys from Canada were in your neck of the woods on our annual bike trip. We are from Windsor Ontario ( across the boarder river from Detroit Michigan). We stopped in Athens Ohio, for two nights, then a few hours away again in Ohio for 2 days, making some trips into West Virginia. We did the 555 ride, and it was fantastic! The elevation twists and turns. A few of the guys I ride with have done tail of the dragon and they said the triple Nickel was scarier because of the elevation with sudden drops from the crest of the hills and not knowing what is on the other side. The people of Ohio were fantastic, they all understood the importance of allowing the group to stay together. It was so great of an we are coming back for a quick 3 day trip at the end of this summer. I even got to see Farrow Harley dealership in Delaware, I kept an eye out for your red helmet, no such luck. Thank you for all the content you put out for us.

i bought a 2024 SG , got it in mid april but couldn't really start riding until may and i've got 5000 miles... and i'm only home on weekends lol
I test rode all the full size cruiser and a couple of softails. I agree they are a huge upgrade . But I will keep my 2019. It's about as technical as I want. But yes they are nice. I've got radio, gps and cruise that's all I need. Only have just over 55,000 miles but leaving for Central Texas in about 8 days. Enjoy watching your videos.
A very good review, a good Machine. But, a lot of folk just can't afford a high end cruiser.
That said, anyone going on the road, regardless of size of bike, should have at least a good windscreen, unless you are masochistic and love getting a beat down by the wind.
That's awesome, sad to see that Appa is no longer with you but I guess we all need to outgrow our toys for the latest and greatest. In either case, the Road Glide is a beautiful bike but not my cup of tea. I'm looking to upgrade to a Road King from a Wide Glide. Very honest review Jordan. Might have been worthwhile to say whether Harley gave you any incentives on the purchase for being an influencer. Just to let us know. I’m assuming not as I didn’t hear bias.
I am on my first 1500 miles of my 24 Street glide. Loving it. Only issue initially was the screen rebooting which was resolved with a dealer software update.

i can promise you , you won't regret doing a cam and intake ... you might "think" that 117 has enough power but it doesn't and you don't know that till you have more ! i knew because my last bike was way faster (still is even with the stage 2 on my 2024 ) but that definitely made it closer
Wow, 10k in five months is quite an accomplishment! I think I've put maybe 12k on my FJR1300 in the last few years. Commute and weekender duties mostly. Great video H2W

I'm seriously loving my 24 RoadGlide, I've added KST SPEARHEAD 12" bars, and Tab Performance Slip ons with Zombie Baffles. I have 8500 miles on her. I would like to upgrade the speakers, rear lights for tour pack, and windshield. Waiting on KW to come out with a shorter sport flair for it instead of the 13 inch. Absolutely in love with it. Had an 18 RoadGlide prior, and before that an 06 Heritage that i kept over 14 years.

Harley should’ve put a screen lockout mode. Should be on when rain mode is selected

Thanks for the update, I like the addon's, I have a Klock Werks windshield on my be and really like it, I've looked at Saddlemen seats. Also like the Jekyll & Hyde exhaust but they don't make an exhaust for my bike so I have Cobra exhaust on mine.

3 weeks 4000 miles, one trip. Heavy rain, baking hot weather, everything. I had no problems with screen. Touch screen is sensitive but no unpleasent interferrence with water drops. Maybe you have faulty screen or need software update.

You need fork wind deflectors if you're having helmet buffeting. It works!!!!

I’m still riding with a 3/4 helmet without a communicator because I understand the new Harley will connect to cardo easier. Apparently Harley is supposed to be coming out with a helmet with built in cardo
I have the same MC and have always used Saddlemen road sofa in my previous Harley’s. Saddlemen website says that the seat does’t work with saddlebag guards but I see you have the guards and seat; did you find anything off while putting the seat on with saddlebag guards?
Sat on a 2024 Road Glide at the dealership the other day, and the seat height felt a lot lower. Does the new Road Glide feel lower in the saddle than your old Road Glide?
I thought if you put it in rain mode, it makes the screen less sensitive. Did you have it in rain mode, when it was cutting out?

I pretty much agree with you on the pros and cons. The stock windshield is horrible. It's cumbersome to connect with my iphone. Outside of that, it's been awesome. Praying my Freedom Shields ships by 7/24 like they said it would.

Just bought the same bike!! Did heavy breather intake and slip on’s. Can’t get a windshield anywhere, especially since the klockworks flood.

somsong makes a killer windshield , they had the RG out for a while and just came out with a SG too , i love mine and its not stupid expensive

I love the white paint on the 24 models. I don't know if I will ever get one. I don't use any of the tech they put on bikes these days. About the only tech I like is cruise control. I never listen to music when I ride. Actually getting to the point where I'm thinking about getting a bike that isn't so heavy. I think the Pan Am would be a better cruiser for me.

I used to have a Harley Softail Custom, but today I find most of the models so ugly and the company degrated so much since the Germen CEO took over - but your videso are nice

Jess, Saddlemen says their seats will not work on '24 Glides with saddlebag guards. You appear to have both. Any issues installing it and what model seat do you have?

I have connection issues with my phone on my WHIM / Car Play on my 23 Street Glide ST all the time…i think its just Car Play bugs tbh
adding the carplay adapter (so i don't need a headset / helmet) gave me carplay but also fixed all those connection and dropped bluetooth issues immediately
how many mpg do you get on that Road Glide
I have a new '24 RG, it gets 47.5mpg on the side roads in sport mode. I know a guy that did several thousand mile road trip and got a touch over 50mpg.
mine gets low 40s with a cam, extreme heavy breather intake and slip ons ... but i ride stupid hard all the time . could get 50 if i rode like a normal human

How is the factory gps? I’m still on the fence about it. I know I could use car play but sometimes I run into no cell service. Also I’ve had car play stop working.

i've done 5000 in 3 months of only weekend riding , i'm home friday morning to monday afternoon (usually ride friday saturday sunday) and i haven't left the state of maine except to go to laconia
