- What a place! The Franz Ferdinand course right on the hunting grounds of the Konopiste Castle. Amazing stuff. This is a temporary course but still has to be my favorite place to play disc golf. We're warming up for the 2021 European Championships which will be a 4 round event covered on The SpinTV RUclips channel. Jussi and I will actually be doing commentary for those rounds too.

Jussi: Your forehand wasn't all that bad! Just might want to look at the grip a little bit and don't step so far to the left with your last step. It opens your hips early and makes the disc want to pull left and you have to release it early to correct.

I've never been to Europe to play but this is the course that got me into disc golf. My first introduction to disc golf was watching the 2016 Konopiste Open on RUclips a few years ago. It's what got me to buy my first starter pack and go out to a local park I found with a course. Over 100 discs later and over 100 rounds, disc golf has become my favorite sport to play and watch.

The absolute acceleration at 3:20, I feel like usually it is hard to get a sense for top pro power but you can just see it explode out of his hand there when he isn't even trying

Your spirit is simply the boss, Mr. Lizotte. I don't know anyone keeping it more fun than you. It is a game and you both play it well and enjoy it so much. And, as you said, everyone should have a boss with those skills and passion.

When you get back to the states. A must play course is Mayflower Hills in Roanoke, Virginia. I am from Texas and played it on a road trip, but if I lived anywhere near it, I would play it everyday. A stunning course with loads of elevation, 9 woods holes and 9 open holes and very well kept. I would love to see you post a video on that course.
Have a friend who lives there. He says Greenfield is even better, but sadly way less maintained.

Simon's just an incredibly skilled DGer. He's made some of the best shots I've ever seen from anyone, ever. He's well known for taking big chances and going for wild lines and that arguably tend to bring his score down. He's certainly not known for playing it safe. Word is, he's changing his game to throw safer, higher percentage shots like everyone else while on tour. If that gives him higher placings, he deserves it, but I'll miss the guts and spirit of his risky bids.

The side arm......the arm swing reminds me of McBeth....the results didn't but you have the back swing so. ..keep @it....play a bunch of side arm only rounds ..including the putts....that way you wont break form plus adds another putting type you can use later with confidence

I fully agree with Jussi on Kyle. The difference between 1020 players and 1050 players isn't their ceiling, it's their floor. Good players can have great rounds. Great players won't have bad rounds.

Hey Simon. I saw your distance park it challenge and wanted to see if you would do the ladder challenge. It’s a golf training game where you start with your shortest club. Ex a 60° wedge and you have to hit every shot further than the last working all the way up to the driver. You get 3 lives and see how many times you can throw further than your last shot. Think it would be cool to see you can some others try this in disk golf.
