I ordered one today and it was only $271.95 with free shipping from TC Bros. Its the same price on the Danmoto website as well. Cant wait man. It sounds wicked without the baffles. Thanks for the video
What size frame clamp did you use? You say 7/8 or 1in but I have this pipe I’m putting my wife’s 1250 sporty and I’m trying to mount the muffler part. I cut the bracket like you did but I need to know the size of the clamp so I can order one and just finish the install of the exhaust
Hello friend , could you talk to me about heat tape vs Exuaghst wrap ? I’m in the process of putting on a set of black danmotto pipes for my 2016 hammer 1275. But I’m very weary about using Exuaghst wrap because the pipe is such thin wall metal. I know the Exuaghst wrap will crack them at some point . Would heat tape be safer option? And we’re to find it ? Thanks ride safe
Hey, Mark Thanks for the video. I have one of those brakets on my wrecked Heritage Springer crash bar. Hopefully it's the right size, in case I decide to get those pipes. Beside the price, how would you compare those pipes to Thunderheaders? Also, would I have to do any modifications, if I put the Danmoto pipes on, having forward controls? I have an '03 Sportster. By the way, your bike looks great. I love all the spaces, and how clean it is. What kind of shocks are you running on it, and what is it that you like about them? I want some performance shocks, but I like a stiff ride.
Hey Rayford thank you for watching and the comment! The bracket should be the same size as the frame and you can get them in different sizes. I personally like the Thunderheader a little better for performance. I am not sure if it will fit with forward controls? I have tried a few different rear shocks and I like the piggy back style the best but they are expensive..$600 to $800.
@@motorcycleridingandrepair1627, Cool deal. Thanks for your reply. I'll look into some different brands of piggy back shocks. I know if there are better pipes for performance than Thunderheaders, but I'm really considering them, after your comment.
Do you happen to know if hammer left the baffle cap on or off when they dyno'd it? I'm curious if either would lead to better performance. Thanks for the video.
Hey there MsDasnake! This bike is lowered both front and rear so the pipe does hit just a little on an aggressive right hand curve but most XL pipes with this lowered configuration will hit. It hurts your wallet and your pride a little the first time when it shaves a little off of the exhaust but on a lowered HD bike it is meant to be. After that you just live with the reality that it's meant to be. Almost all of my pipes on my lowered HD's end up with some small ground clearance scuffing but you just get use to it because the exhaust can not stay new forever and it shows that you are laying into the corners. Besides, many cornering pipe scuffs can hardly be seen and it is just part of the hot rod HD phenomenon so try try look at it in a reverse light that it is hot rod good instead of new chrome scuff bad. Tell your friends if needed that it is evidence of a hard cornering, flat tracking mo jo!
Harley Davidson Racing right on. Also looks cool making sparks while you turn. I just got the same exhaust in the mail for my 94. love the look and sound!
Hey MsDasnake I have got to think that you will be happy with your purchase. For the money it is one of the best 2 into 1 pipes available for the Sportster. I took the baffle out of mine which was hard to do because it was stuck but it made it loud. You may be able to customize the baffle with additional holes which might be a good in-between level of loudness.
Hello Morgan and thank you for watching. That is a TracDynamic swing arm. You can find them on the Internet. They are based in California and the arm has about a 3 to 4 month order and wait time. It sells for around $1200 depending on the finish and then you have to spend about $500 more for a custom caliper and hanger because the stock XL caliper will not work. So total you are looking at around $1700 for the switch so it is a costly upgrade. Thank you again!....Mark
Hi Mark, greetings... I am also a Mark, from England... my question for you is this... I saw a Buell in the background of a recent Hammer Performance vid, I know that you used to/do own a Buell.... The one in the video has a flame paintjob and has Harley-Davidson Racing written on the side of it in Old English lettering... Did I just spot one of your bikes in a unrelated video? Surely that makes me a superfan if I did, which I believe grants me the rights as a superfan of Harley-Davison Racing and a bona-fide Sportster connoisseur to ride any of your bikes should I ever visit the states in the foreseeable future... :)
Couldn't think of anything cooler than taking one of your bikes for a ride. You are an inspirational builder. Please keep making these vids and if you ever find yourself around and abouts the north east coast of England, hit me up... I owe you a beer. Ride safe.

That swing arm is gorgeous
Wait the only reason they say the new exhausts don't fit the pre 2003 sportsters is the mounting brackets? Everything else is just the same?
Looks amazing... I have a 2006 883 that am restoring... !! Nice upgrades/dress up to the engine.
Sounds amazing... love your videos keep up the great work 👍🏻
Thanks Mike!
Hey how’s that 2-1 set up going for you? I am looking to get this for the 03 and do the bracket fabrication you did.
Hey Coty it is working great and for the price you really can not got wrong!
I love what you have done!!! Very classy mods. I have a stock 2006 XL883C... sadly I don’t think the danmoto exhaust fits the stock set up.
I believe that pipe is made for your 2006 883.
I have one in my ebay cart and was looking around for info on theres. Glad I'm subscribed to your channel. You helped away me to make the purchase
Thank you for watching!
What brand of wrap did you go with, and does the black fade ? Thanks for sharing.

How did you take baffle out?? Video?? Thought this would help more thanks man!

Just finished installing a new set of Ohlins black line shocks for the rear end and what a difference!! Love them piggy back shocks.
The heat tape works good. No worry.
Did you customize the bracket that holds the pipe?
Hey, Mark

ive got a sportster s 1200, what jets did you use, thanks, oh ps running standard carb
Hello marcus and thank you for watching. I am running an S&S carb on this bike and I think I have a 88 main jet currently in it.
vehicles will hear you 20 miles away lol. sounds good and looks good too
where can i buy one? can’t find them anywhere online
Do you happen to know if hammer left the baffle cap on or off when they dyno'd it? I'm curious if either would lead to better performance. Thanks for the video.
I think they probably tried it both ways. Probably better without it.
Hello is possible in year 2002. ?
Hey did you have to re jet the carb with that exhaust?
What air cleaner is this? Beautiful bike!
It is and S&S air cleaner. Thanks for watching and the kind comment! Appreciated!
My 2001 sportster frame measured 1 1/4”. I found a black clamp on eBay for $10.99 with free shipping.
Thanks for the info Jamey! 1 1/4"
Where would I be able to get one of those clamps at?
Where’d you buy the frame clamp?
Hey again. Do you have issues with ground clearance while cornering?
Hey there MsDasnake! This bike is lowered both front and rear so the pipe does hit just a little on an aggressive right hand curve but most XL pipes with this lowered configuration will hit. How is the ground clearance on the right side ? How much difference in sound levels with the baffle in ? Thanks for posting.
Hi Gary. It seems to be fine. It would all depend on your rear shock height.
Ever fit that version on an 03 and older bike with forward controls?
Hi Adam! I do not think it will fit because the front pipe will not make it around the forward control/rear brake lever.
Got a part number?
Sorry I do not but I believe they make only the one pipe for the 2004 and up model.
Where can I get this swing arm??
Hello Morgan and thank you for watching. That is a TracDynamic swing arm. You can find them on the Internet. They are based in California and the arm has about a 3 to 4 month order and wait time. What steering dampener are you using
Hey tino. Not sure of the name. Got it on eBay. It will only work on the 2003 and before model XOL's.
What swingarm is this
Hey Chris! That is a Trax and they are made in the California.
So I should be able to adapt this to my 1999 1200
I would think that you should be able to.

I'm glad I heard this... these sound absolutely awful. I'm going with Vance and Hines. These sound high pitched and tin can like.
Can you provide me with the tube bracket part number
Sorry but I do not know it.
