So he shouldn’t back up while he is being punched be a senile old man who ran onto the track? If the official would have been taking care of that situation like he should have been it would have been a completely different situation. Pierce is talented, but the way he drives he should expect things like this to happen.

What the heck has Pierce done to "have it coming?" That was a racing incident. Pierce was coming up on the cushion and Tyler kept taking the line away. Pierce had a run and Tyler came up and they just made contact. Tylers just being whiny.

Not trying to justify what Erb did afterwards, but that definitely wasn’t accidental contact as Pierce had plenty of track to check up or avoid contact and the same situation happened a few laps earlier. And there’s history between the two.
Pierce got pay back from what happened a few weeks ago at Plymouth Speedway in Plymouth Indiana
Both drivers don't drive clean ive seen bobby dump babbs and Shirley before and ive seen erb do the same to Shirley.they both dirty drivers

That was not Bobby’s fault I was there and I stood right where it happened. Tyler went up to the high side and he went right in front of Bobby.

Pierce knew he had a run coming off turn 2. All he had to do was get off the gas or turn down under him and he woulda got by him. Ya it’s a racing deal but that was definitely not erbs fault.

If you watch pierces car as he comes up to erb its flat so he's off the throttle. I feel pierce was trying to time it out but erb slowed to much for the top side momemtum. Erb was not justified in his action or Bob either.

@@ZGod829 NOTHING WRONG? I'm a neutral perspective from New Zealand. The #1 Drives backwards around the track while all cars are still moving and literally drives head-on ramming into 32. There's a lot wrong with that. But a lot wrong with both sides. Just cause you get spun though does not give you the right to retaliate in that manor

Grox2448 I watched it happen live, was at the races Thur, Fri, Sat nights, SMH, Erb is very, very, lucky that the track official did not get hurt worse than he did.
Erb thought he was back home in the sim on Iracing..
In the aftermath of the incident, World Racing Group officials have suspended Tyler Erb indefinitely from all World of Outlaws / DIRTcar Racing sanctioned events and tracks, under the enforcement of World of Outlaws Rulebook 11.1 C - F - J . He is also fined $5,000, which is to be paid in full before reinstatement is considered, which can be applied for 12 months following the date of the incident.
I understand being upset but nothing justifies what Tyler did. A spin maybe some yelling of cuss word’s. Not using your car as a weapon.

I understand that things happen, but you got to keep a cool head out there. I say suspend both Erb and the crew member. Since Erb has had run ins before, I suggest making him ineligible for points for 2 or 3 season. I never like the nuclear “ban for life” thing, but put them in the grandstands a season or two and they’ll learn. I don’t know anything about the WoO rulebook, but this is just my opinion.

Erb flipped another guy by doing the same thing the night before and the guy didnt go try to rough him up! That was just not the right thing to do!
Meanwhile, Overton is beating everyone all over the damn country. It’s too bad his win will be overshadowed by the Pierce-Erb embarrassment.

Ryan Rutherford Erb clearly overreacted, but Bobby wrecks just as many people as Erb. He even said in the post race interview he intentionally hit Erb 3 or 4 times before spinning him.

Erb has been wrecking other cars for weeks, two this weekend at Cedar Lake alone, he deserved that and whatever punishment WOO dishes out to him.
Bobby Pierce has wrecked a fewdrivers himself this year and got into other drivers over the years! Ask Frank Heckenast Jr and Kyle Stricker about Pierce this year and he also body slammed Weiss during the weekend!
Erb takes out guys all weekend, and Bobby at Plymouth but justifies it by saying “it was an accident” then Bobby waits behind him for a good 10 laps and accidentally gets into him but then Erb flips out? Lol have fun racing for your endless money pit team Erb that you underperform for every week. Hope WOO bans him for life.

ZGoat doesnt matter, Erb took his line away lap after lap holding him up, Bobby gave him 2-3 warning taps laps earlier. Pathetic retaliation especially when Bobby had a chance to win. Solve it after the race instead he ruined what coulda been a great race.

Tyler should be banned the rest of the season. Bob Sr should be banned the rest of 2020 too. Tyler should be docked points and fined as well.

Erb should be parked for the rest of the year, possibly for good in that series. Pierce does some stupid things sometimes and I am not a fan of either, but that was just DUMB and could've even possibly gotten someone hurt, Usually an innocent by standard. Park his ass. Bobby Pierce, You tear more equipment up than anybody I've ever seen. If you had to pay for that stuff and actually did the work on it, you use what brain you do have a little more.
