    In your deep work session i would suggest u take boring breaks because if u take breaks which are more stimulating than the task you're doing then it lowers the efficiency and you will get less work done

    • @KoiAcademy
      @KoiAcademy  4 месяца назад +73

      I would say that if you take boring breaks you'll get tired more and get sleepier. On the flip side, if you do more stimulating work, you'll be more excited and fresher.

      Ngl I'd recommend meditating in this case, it may be boring but it will indeed increase your focus instead of making you sleepier
      The dude is right, stimulation makes your brain tired, but do note that social interactions are different and makes you well rested

      Spaced repetition has been a game-changer for me! One of the key benefits is how it tackles the forgetting curve by revisiting information at optimized intervals. Pairing this with active recall can really deepen understanding. Anyone who’s learning something new can definitely benefit from this method! 💡

    1. Build your focus by measuring the time you’re focused in the subject.
    2. Build your “mental muscle” by stressing and relaxing your focus-pomodore method(25’ focused and 5’ rest).
    3. Drills: practice in the same way you’ll be tested on the test day. Practice how you aer going to play. Prioritise active recall vs passive.
    4. Show up every day. Do the hard work even if you don’t feel like it.

Learning in the 19th/20th cent used to be just exploring what you were interested in, so it was easy for people to spend hours on it (think Darwin writing the theory of evolution... or Victor Frankenstein in his room). Spaced repetition has been a game-changer for me! One of the key benefits is how it tackles the forgetting curve by revisiting information at optimized intervals. Pairing this with active recall can really deepen understanding. This video definitely explains it well! 💡

      Hard work, growth mindset, strategy and technique, practice - these and many more concepts from sports can and will improve your study! It's about how the person uses these. 😀

      I would seek professional help as they are better trained to help with ADHD and will provide you with better tools, but my personal advice is to do pomodoro sessions. Focus for 20-25 mins, instead of an hour, and then take a break from 5-10 mins. Do this about 4-5 times. I think this will work better for you.
