- BMW 745Le xDrive 2020 is a Plug-in Hybrid car. It has 3.0 l turbo petrol engine (210 kW/286 HP) plus 83 kW/113 HP electric motor. The lithium-ion battery capacity: 12 kWh gross (part of it is available for driving). BMW claims 745Le xDrive can cover around 50 - 54 km (~31 - 33 mi) in all-electric mode (eDrive). I checked it in a city and on highway/ motorway. Results: 44 km (~27 mi) in real test (eco-driving in a city) and 34 km (21 mi) at 120 km/h (75 mph).

I own and drive a 2022 745Le. I achieve 24 electric miles on the motorway with heating on 24 degrees during the winter. In the summer I get 29 - 31 miles on electric- all motorway driving at a steady 58 miles per hour MPH. the secret to successful driving is being smooth and gentle and consistent. This car is absolutely AMAZING. Without doubt my favourite car. Tanzanite Blue M sport 745Le

Does the car by driving also charging the battery? + You can also charge it by power supply at home? . But how many liters it uses to charge the battery for 40km ? In video we can't see the fuel it uses to charge? And also what about -20 cold and heather s open all day long? Please explain the system for me, that how many liters fuel I will be using when car charge itself while driving?
There is no one answer, in general charging the battery from the petrol engine is misunderstanding PHEV cars. The only situation which is worth to do that is: when you are driving on a highway and you are about to get to the city with heavy traffic it is OK (just OK) to charge the battery on highway to keep the energy for the traffic jam. Also question like: "how many liters it uses to charge the battery for 40 km": 40 km range on highway is a different amount of energy compared to 40 km range in a city
what highway consumption is about 300 km. With an average speed of 140 km/h. How much do you get for electricity and petrol?
I am not sure about your question, especially about 300 km? All results you can find here: ruclips.net/video/Om07dsoXmms/видео.html Tell me if it is what you were looking for,
Great video. I actually have the 2020 V12 right now but considering changing it for the 745Le.
One question I have is on the left when you are in cruise control - I have a different set of icons there to represent cruise control. What mode are you in? Assisted Driving or just cruise control?
It is assisted driving :)
Profesjonalnie jak zwykle, choć interfejs bmw to dziś wyzwanie dla kierowcy jak i widza tego typu prezentacji. Pozdrawiam :D.
amazing result which quite close to the manufacturer claims.
What is real range of the car with petrol and full electric,i buy it yesterday and i wanna know the real range with full petrol tank and full electric
It depends on your style of driving and speed. The electric range you know from the upper movie, you also know the fuel consumption at certain speed. You also know what is the fuel tank capacity, you can easily calculate it by your own :)
Dasz radę zrobić tego typu test z którąś z nowych hybryd PHEV (TFSIe) od Audi?
Jak tylko będą dostępne, to będę próbował :)
Fajny test!
Sorry I didn't not follow but in full tank ( 78 litre) . How many miles (or km) it get
It depends on charging cycles speed etc.
@@1001cars Ok let me take one scenario, where I travel everyday 400 kilometres, then in the night I charge it, so how many kilometres will I travel without filling my tank and thanks for reply
@@reetangovindji6009 As I wrote you: speed.
@@reetangovindji6009 do you know fuel consumption depends on the speed?
@@jureczekja3174 okay let's consider we are doing average speed of 80 km per hour in highway condition with little or no traffic, so how much range can I get in a full tank.
Maybe you can test the X5 45e electric range :D
I am going to do that soon :)
@@1001cars Thank you. I've got another question. How did you get a chance to drive the new iX3. Was it just at the dealer and you asked for taking a ride, or was it as a press car and you testet it as a "press person"?
I was on the press presentation as a journalist.
Fuel consumption test with Mazda Skyactive-X engine please.
I hope that I will be able to do that next month :)
I have this car. Do not count on such a range. The max is 25 km city range on battery. I have no idea how they achieved this result but I live in Sofia, Bulgaria and this is impossible. Everyone should consider this before buying this car.
Otherwise this is fantastic car. If you can accept the 25 km battery range then I strongly reccomend BMW 745e.
Guy from the movie achieved 34 km on the highway and 44 km in city, you definitely do something wrong with your driving style if you cannot get more than 25 km in city
@@jureczekja3174 I got the same result as Alexandar, no more then 30km range
@@jureczekja3174 Guy from the movie is using PREMIUM electricity to charge his batteries :))))
