What's up bro. Thanks for the review! I have the TCL qm8 this year's model, and I want this Soundbar to match. I don't think I need the satellite speakers since it's a small bedroom, do you think that just the Soundbar and subwoofer would be plenty seeing how it has the up firing speakers and all that Dolby Atmos stuff? Thanks ahead of time for your input.

what is the brightest mode on tcl qm8 or tcl qm7 is it vivid? what smart hdr do? does smart hdr dim or brighten picture?

Smart HDR adds more contrast to SDR content, making it appear HDR like

Brightness and contrast should be 100. Increasing the Black Levels will brighten the picture. Enable tone mapping, priority brightness, if you are looking for even more brightness.

What I heard (with headphones) the subwoofer @ 6.5" feels abit off/not there, you say it does a "rumble" but compared to more higher end how does it compare?

I have a TCL QM7 85 inch. Will having the TCL TV speakers play with the Q85 soundbar sound better than a Samsung Q990C/D alone?
