  • This video features Bally's VECTOR. Featuring two levels of play, and more speech than any game up to this point, this rare game gets explained! Incredibly innovative, watch and learn all the secrets of this game!
Ever wonder what all those flashing lights are doing on a pinball machine? This special series entitled UNDERSTANDING PINBALL will show YOU what that machine is doing!
Todd N. Tuckey, owner of TNT Amusements in Southampton PA, filmed this series back in 1989--actually editing it right in the camera on Hi band 8mm. It took several hours for each machine, but we think you will enjoy the results!
You can also buy the DVD of this and other machines offering a higher quality picture and sound from www.tntamusements.com.

This was my all time favourite game, I remember one night in a bar i put one coin in and spent the whole night on it. At the end of the night I left the machine with about 6 free games remaining. Thanks for the upload, excellent!

@vtnwesley Hi! I made these in 1989 before those two games were made. I do not think I could have the patience to make new ones---it took hours to make each one of these! Todd

4:30 interesting "when lit" in yellow, two times, underneath the playfield display. Whereas, mine and the IPDB pictures show a yellow insert to the left reading "FLIP SPEED" and the right one reads "FASTEST FLIP" and is red.

It was pinball games like Laura that had numbers on the back glass that would be light from behind as you score instead of the mechanical counters.

The voice sounds very similar to the one 80s Chrysler cars had in their dashboard.

Thanks for info like this. I am playing vpx and ilook at all these numbers and I don't how to light them up. A table like this is awfully complicated

@tntamusements That's okay. You are still awesome anyway. Loving the videos. Can't wait to see the next. I'm amazed how they can rebrand and rearrange the table and occasionally get something quite original! I'm more of a video game guy, and not so much into pinball. I've gained a new respect for pinball as a genre/medium.

That is very cool. I don't suppose you have a video for the two Super Mario pinball machines?

There is a Home ROM for this that some one made on there own and it makes use of some unused speech in the game sound roms.
google okaegi's collection and projects for more info

I would give a nut for a good condition Black Knight 2000 machine right about now.
