  • Throughout my time inside I made several stingers to cook with. This was my method. Please don't make one of these at home & start an electrical fire, just use your microwave or stovetop. We didn't have those options and were forced to find other ways.

    I just made one for no reason it worked alot better than the one in the video i made it out of 2 keys with a big hole in it like 10 tooth picks in between and a hair band than hooked it up to a old cable i didn't need connected it to an extension cord and it started vigorously boiling within seconds i had to do it in bust in order for it to not boil over i used to do something similar to desolve pennys older than 1982 and plate quarters with copper o would do it with 5 volt usb charger cables it was fun so i kinda found this interesting

    In Illinois, I would buy 2 nail clippers and an extension cord every commissary.
    Instead of splitting the clippers, I just take the top off of both clippers and wire them up. Sometimes with a plastic spoon handle separating them, sometimes nothing separating them, just keep them pulled apart and not touching.
    I remember times not even having any metal, just the bare cord wires in the water.
    I seen another RUclipsr that takes two drain covers and rigs it up that way, and he cooks in the same water because it doesn't turn brown like the way we do it. I'm sorry, I don't care how many times you say you clean those drain covers, I'm not putting anything that was in a shower in my food 🤮

    I was locked up for about 10 months in county. But the particular jail i was in was rated federal level. So we couldn't have things like extension cords or razors. Hell, you were locked in your cell just to shave. And the CO's inspected the razors after you gave it back to them to make sure you didn't swap out the blade for a chewing gum foil. 😅

    • @LockupLegendsLessons

    Never been to a yard but a year in county and I can’t believe the difference in commissary. Jail has one nail clipper for everyone in the gym on hair cut days. And no metal cans of any kind. The commissary scam is unreal 75¢ a soup and I’m sure it’s went up for covid and inflation as well.

      It's been tried but too many problems. The metal tends to fall out of the holes & the plug is too big to fit in the container. Higher risk of shorting the cell out, higher risk of getting caught. But I like where your head's at.

    Saltwater has a low heat capacity so it takes less heat to raise it's temp the downside is, saltwater it requires less heat to get hot but more time to actually boil.

    • @jd7896
      @jd7896 2 месяца назад

      It's actually because the salt reduces the electrical resistance of the water. I.e. making it more conductive. Less resistance = more heating power.
