Very nice demonstration. Better than all other tutorials where they just say Click on Devices>Insert Guest Additions CD image those videos are waste of time. But this one is great step by step instructions. Great work
Wow! THANK YOU so much! I spent hours trying to get the full screen to work but clicking on "Insert Guest Additions" after entering the build-essential dkm command on the terminal was having no effect whatsoever! I eventually came across your video. Fantastic work!
Please make sure you have allocated at least 1) 4GB of RAM or more if you have sufficient RAM in your computer to spare. 2) 128MB of Video Memory 3) 2 Processors (or more for better performance)
Finally a it worked 😃 Thanks a lot. Seen so many videos but none of them helped me. I think those videos are outdated for the new version. New subscriber. Love from India 🇮🇳
Worked for me. I had issues getting to the .run file on the mounted disk so I had to navigate to it using cd commands lol... I thought ultimately I kept getting it wrong was because I typed the filepath wrong or something. took me a couple tries (or a lot of tries to confirm thats what it was ). but now fully working full screen. Thanks
Great video congrats, I have a widescreen monitor, I've set de 128MB of video memory after guest additions installation and the 2560 x 1080 resolution was available after rebooting ...
You should add that you might need to do ctrl+c before sudo apt-get update. I had to do that since the terminal would not return me to the starting state and was stuck in still trying to process the previous command. I'm using Kubuntu.
