It's probably the worst country on earth. Extremely dirty, no food safety at all, enormous levels of pollution. People are extremely rude unless they're on camera, then they will be nice.
NZ is expensive for a first world country. China is comparatively VERY expensive. As an example, NYC is more than twice as expensive between CPI and PPP of China and US. I.e., you can buy more with the same amount of income in NYC as you can in Shanghai. If you make minimum wage in NYC, you can get more than minimum wage in Shanghai.
That train in a apartment building is bloody weird. But there is one cool thing I hope u get to see in China, think its Tianjin Binhai it is architecturally a great building to see. Chongqing just looks like everythings for chinese insta pics
