Really would be interested in the real reason for leaving. After all an actors life is tough and having a lead role in a very popular series, even internationaly, looked like a save bank. Yes in fact that were not that many episodes per season but still.
Something tells me I missed something but my problems is that it probably would not have appealed to my mother so I deferred. I was a little uneasy about his creepy brutal role in The Secret of Crickley Hall as it just did not seem right for him, he seems too gentle to have to hurt that little boy, Kian who played Stefan. It must have emotionally upset him afterwards.
