- A special experience encountering an enormous school of kingfish in New Zealand's Hauraki Gulf. An incomprehensible amount of fish gathered together for what looks to be spawning. Along with some good spearfishing action of Snapper, Kingfish, Pink Mao mao and catching crayfish.

Sophie is amazing, getting down that deep at nearly 30 weeks. I can't dive that well now. How ever, I may not be 30 weeks, but I sure do look it lol. Beautiful footage and great narration Wettie TV.
Great video - thanks for sharing your recovery intervals - I did not recover optimally before I bought my watch. I hit a school like thtat that during my last Tayranga dive befire i moved back to the SI. Got a 27 and a 13kg to take down to Dunedin/Oamaru...
Awesome video! can't believe that vis.
Legendary breath hold bro, another epic vid. Cheers
What are your thoughts on putting a safety video out regarding shallow water blackout etc? You stated here that proper recovery stops you from getting tired but it also reduces CO2 buildup and risk of blackout. Would be awesome to use your platform and brand to promote safe diving and share you’re plentiful experience!
Amazing bro and thanks for all the little tips you give out Iv learnt heaps from you an your dad with a lot of others that watch I’m sure
Even if I can’t dive no where near the depts you do!…. Yet haha What a experience that must be with all those kingi
Thanks bro
Amazing footage!
Epic for sure!!
They are beautiful fishes.
Sweet.
Can you elaborate on what you mean my decreasing Kawai numbers?
Just personal observation. I suspect if you ask any diver/fisher over the last 20 years or more, they would of noticed the notable decline in Kahawai numbers.
@@WettieNZ some of the divers I know have said similar things. It’s quite sad. I hope it’s a behaviour change rather than a population issue.
Nice...
