@@andreaphang68, my mother didn’t take any HRT either, but she broke a bone and died of dementia at 89. In my own personal case, I decided to take a different route and began using body identical hormones at the age of 57. We have estrogen receptors all over our bodies, and if I can prevent osteoporosis, heart disease or dementia, I’m all for it.

Super helpful! I have been getting recurrent UTI's for a few years and didn't know why or have a solution until my GYN prescribed topical estrogen cream a few weeks ago. SO relieved! • @nancy4366

For vaginal atrophy you DO need to insert (use) the applicator into the vagina. FYI.
Ladies, wipe front to back with coconut oil after urinating (each time) MCT oil kill ecoli and you won't get any more UTI's. I've been doing this for 10 years (after 5 years of chronic UTI's) and I've had ZERO UTI's since using MCT fractionated coconut oil externaly (put a little on the toilet tissue) just before wiping front to back. :)

Hi. Thank you for the info. I have horrific vaginal atrophy. Thinning of the vaginal walls. Very painful intercourse. I cannot for the life of me find a doctor in my area (San Diego) that knows anything about this condition or how to treat it. I am gun shy to try anything like a estrogen tabs or rings up in the vagina because years ago I tried (Fem-tab?) them and my entire vagina become like a red erupting volcano. Raw and so painful. Perhaps a allergic reaction??? I Have been using compounded estradiol and progesterone for years with great success, but since 2020 the product quality is either not as good or they just stopped working for me. I’d love to simplify things and just try a bio-identical cream, but how do I get it and is it something that if I just put it on the outside of the vagina (inner labia) will it still help the thinning of the walls of the vagina? Do you ever see anyone remotely? I have been to three doctors now and I am beside myself with the lack of quality care in this new town we move to 1.5 years ago. 59 years old. Menopausal since 52. Married 26 years. Still active but too painful to go on. Help!

Thank you. I have been using Estring for years but the copay has gone up to $180 for the 3 month ring. Very convenient., though. I did get a discount through Pfizer for several years but my copay now is 3 times as expensive. The employee last contacted said to get a pharmacy coupon. I'm not elligible for the coupon, though Pfizer says on their site last year that I would still qualify since I have been on the discount program for several years. My pharmacy closed then Walgreens say they cannot get Estring. Guess I can save money on a cream.

Question I have - I was taken off HRT (Estradiol) by my doctor and told to use the vaginal cream for vaginal atrophy. Would I be able to crush the pills I was given and add them to a cream to make my own Estradiol cream.? My dose was .5mg daily. I had a complete hysterectomy at 44 I am now 64. No other medical issues.

Super helpful! Many years I suffered from UTI’s pretty much every 3-4 yrs but these past 2-3 years I have been getting them more often like every 4 months! So the gyno suggested the pill form estrogen and I got another UTI after 3 mths …I was so disappointed but this video was helpful in understanding that it is probably due to the urethra so I definitely will use the gel form because my UTI’s are due to painful sex and vaginal atrophy… thanks will confirm results once I switch to the gel estrogen!

Don’t wait. Tell your doctor about 6 years of hot flashes. Get on HRT immediately. It prevent other diseases that your doctor will not treat for

I used this cream for a few weeks and then got another UTI. I was SO FRUSTRATED! I found an answer! I started using 2000 mg per day of D-mannose. (any brand) 1000 mg morning and again in the evening. Haven't had a uti since I began using it years ago. I used to get them every couple of months! D-mannose keeps the bacteria from sticking to your bladder and it cannot form an infection. Your body will not become immune to it. It saved my life! Taking antibiotics every couple of months is horrible for your health.
