I can’t believe I just watched 3 drill sergeants that trained me to be the soldier I am today finally take their hats off. It seems like yesterday I was a fuzzy getting screamed at by them because I wasn’t at parade rest when I asked to go to the latrine, now I’m going to BLC in a week. This is rough, time is flying way too fast.

I went to basic and AIT in the 1989's at Fort Benning. I only Saw one female drill Sargent there, and that was at the reception station. I never had a female drill Sargent. I don't know how long they are drill Sargents for. Best wishes on their new adventure.
