Thank you for watching. Хобби
We had a long layover on London in December and had lunch at Tamil Prince. Mind Blown! So delicious
Glad to hear that
Love this! Very well presented. Thank you. ❤
Super new video series idea, and you absolutely have the clout and the momentum to post a very well respected review! Cool.
Appreciate it!
Chetna- I adore u. Have since BBO.
I’m white & a Yank from New England , but did my post grad in UK & adore Indian food.
What I would like to know when I’m watching your videos is EXACTLY what the dish is.
Cause, I don’t truly know.
May I suggest digging deeper?
What exactly was your cocktail? What was the swirly creamy dish?
Describe it!
Briefly- because I want to learn.
Thx you for this!❤
Thank you for this review. Our trains come into St Pancras and Dishoon is always so busy so this is On my list.
Look forward to the next episode.
Love this, Chetna! Looking forward to visiting these places along with you in this series.
Hope you will enjoy
I am a knitter and loved your grey cabled sweater. Would love to have its details - designer, hand knit / machine knit pattern name etc...
Love this idea, and I’m happy it’s you doing the review,I’m in NYC ,but I like to follow what is happening in my homeland. The puffy bread was called Poori here seems out of fashion in NY I haven’t seen it on a menu here in years.I loved your sweater,I have one very similar, but I liked yours better.Looking forward to next Sunday.
Great idea for series - thank you
Perfect, you've read my mind. Just today I was wanting to know where London's best Indian restaurants are.
Hope you will enjoy the series
This is an amazing new series! Thank you 🫶🫶🫶 excited for more!
Glad you enjoy it!
Great little spotlight on what looks like a great place; would happily watch move videos like this one. :)
omg perfect im going to london in april for the first time!~
This series is great!
Took a good friend here to celebrate a milestone birthday last week - the food was absolutely delicious [and fairly authentic taste by all accounts - my friend is from Tamil Nadu!]. And the service and ambience were brilliant too. It was because of this video that we went :). So thank you so much for your sharing!
Those plates look so good! 🔥
👍🏼
Looks amazing! Great idea for a series… def keeping an eye on this!! ❤
Yay, thank you!
Looks so delicious, can't wait to go. Thanks a ton Chetna. Quick one - chana bhatura and kurkuri bhindi in a south indian restaurant? Odd but looks like a must visit!
Yes I agree, but I am guessing they need to do some more well known dishes to please a wider range of audience
That was delicious and sumptuous ❤❤❤
Aloha, Chetna! Oooooooo I am so excited for this new series. Homesick for desi food back in Blighty (in London, but especially in the north!) XO
😍
This is the first restaurant, and I think it's the best so far.
they all had something special
Thank you Chetna. I don’t live in London but I am determined to visit. Either way I enjoy vicariously exploring new restaurants thru you.
Thanks
WOW Tamil Prince .> Execellent Chetna..
PAROTTA and Lollipop CHICKS yummo...
Cheers from #pollachi #Coimbatore #tamilnadu
I have been here before and I can agree that it is amazing. I would recommend you check out Tandoor chop house and Omnom ❤
Really wish I was there with you! Everything looked amazing. Keep on sharing! ❤ Stay safe.
Thanks
Great start to your series, can't wait for the next episode .
Next episode will be next sunday and I cannot wait to share it
Love the way you dive into the food no hold barred! Great series, I'll be watching more.
Thanks
I’m so excited for the series!
thanks
The Tamil Prince is now most definitely on my bucket list. ✨
The food looks gorgeous! Wish I could smell it through the screen 😋 Really like the kitchen scenes. It’s nice to see not only how it’s made but how immaculate the kitchen is.
That is the point, glad you liked that bit
This place has really good food!
Let me try it tomorrow for Mother’s Day
Nowdays I can’t find any nice Indian food in uk …
Genius idea. Please go all over the UK 😄🙏🏼
I plan to
Fab series 🎉
thanks
Will have to try it out , if they serve vegetarian food , as I live near there
Yes they do
Good review!!
thanks
This is a wonderful series! On behalf of gluten intolerant people, may I ask if Indian food in general and the restaurants you visit have plenty of safe options for us? Thank you!
Yes lots of options, other than the breads the food is mainly gluten free
@@FoodwithChetna 🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
"the flaky roti" was probably Malabar borota (i.e. paratha).
They called it that
Can’t wait to pop in ❤
I wish you could have ordered seeraga samba rice or something else from thanjavur
Nice idea to review some places -- there's such good, innovative food out there. Tamil Prince is on my radar. Curious about their choice to take over traditional pub spaces? What are your thoughts on this?
I think its a great idea, why not have delicious food in an old pub!
Loved it 🥰💜💐
So glad!
Oh my goodness what a treat for the eyes 👀 thanks for sharing this video with us ❤
Thanks
Thanks….pls recommend in west London sometime
🤞🏽
I don't thinks this is exactly south Indian food to be honest. Sholah bhuturah is a punjabi dish as well as the parantha. This is a twist of punjabi and modern Indian food with the fried okrah
This place is definitely on my list now!
👍🏼
I need to get back to London. It's been far, far too long.
😍
Hope that you can review restaurants outside of London,
Hoping to do that!
iI wonder what oil they deep fry in?
Small portions...trust me chicken from a large plate option would be served in a flat dish smaller than your palm..taste wise it is okay
?????
Hi Chetna, can you tell us a rough estimate on price please
Any prices please??
100-150 for small family
Omg I love u ❤
❤️
should have tried its predecessor, Roots at N1, greatly missed.
well I cant so 😂
👏👏👏😘❤️👍
😍
Great video series but bit disappointing to see the menu not having any south Indian items except for Thanjavur chicken...am sure the chole bature and Paneer butter masala are definitely north Indian menu items.
Yes I agree!
BRUSSELS BELGIUM
Watch your vids but if you’re going into restaurant reviews you need more than this.Prices for a start
Chole Bathure is North Indian isn’t it
You must let us know the price .what is reasonable to you may be expensive to me or cheap to my rich brother.
well I cant share the exact price but will be sharing a glimpse of the menu like I did in this video. If you would like exact prices then they are all on their websites!
its not Tamilian food,Tamilian here😂
You spent most of time showing the kitchen.
Is it a halal restaurant???
Is the meat halal?
I dont know.......
I thought she was Ellen
its well overpriced
I hope future episodes are less biased and neutral. The fact you had access to the kitchen makes the vlog feel staged and not completely unbiased.
I dont know any restaurants so it could not be any more unbiased! yes I worked hard to get access to the kitchens and will be doing so with all the restaurants I visit so that the audience can get a glimpse of how their food is cooked. And that actually will be the highlight of this series!
@@FoodwithChetna The video was interesting but it comes across as a promotional video for the establishment as opposed to a critical review to try and find London’s Best Indian.
@@Poptrash1 you might say that for every single video that I do in this series then....... I am not going in to any restaurants to tear them apart because that is not me but I am genuinely interested in knowing what is out there in terms of Indian food in this country and will be sharing my honest views about it.
No worries Chetna. I won't sic the food police on you. What I saw was an amazing demonstration of working with dough like a master, a clean kitchen, and dishes to die for.
@@Poptrash1 that doesnt make any sense. You can ask to film in the kitchen if you are doing a review. In fact most reviews Ive seen of this place feature some footage of the meal being prepared. Its not a huge ask, especially in a smaller local restaurant.
