- Being a parent comes with making a lot of tough decisions. For those expecting a boy, especially in the United States, one of the first decisions you may have to make is whether to circumcise him or not. This was a huge questions for us, that took a lot of thought and consideration. After jumping down another research rabbit hole, here is our LesbiHonest opinion on whether to circumcise your baby or not. All the resources we used were from medical journals, doctors and .org websites (which can be found below).

Congratulations to both of you for being open minded, doing the research properly and respecting your son.
Thanks for your video. My thoughts are it's you son's body, he can decide what he wants to do when he's older. As in, if he feels strongly he wants to get circumcised when he's grown up, his call, but if there's no medical need for it, why do it? Also, I believe it is self-evident that if you remove part of someone's body, it will have an impact. Physical, psychological, whatever, it will cause a change. On a personal level, as a circumcised man, I believe having my foreskin removed at birth has caused me a lot of issues so am glad to hear of parents deciding not to go ahead with it.
Sad to hear that you are one of many men that wish their mother hadn't had them cut. What issues is it causing?
@@fhtscoble234 Pretty widespread I'd say, from the uncomfortable sensation of having the head of your penis permanently exposed, through to the knowledge that my parents made this decision to alter my body without my consent. It's difficult for me to say if anything sexual issues I've had are directly related to circumcision, maybe they'd have happened to me even if I wasn't cut, but I do think when you cut a nerve rich part of the penis away, you're not going to help. Also, there's a bit of a myth around circumcision making you last longer sexually. Sometimes I think it does, but sometimes I think it doesn't, in that you lose the finer feedback you'd have if you weren't circumcised, so it can make you go the other way. It's all just wrong. I think a lot of circumcised men are affected in this way, they just won't admit it because to do so would be to admit they are somewhat diminished.
@@kennedystking Can you remember having a foreskin or where you cut at an early age like they do in the USA?
@@fhtscoble234 No, it was done when I was around 1 and a half.
@@kennedystking Can you remember it? It must have been very painful at that age. It's not good that parents do this to their children it should be made illegal just like female circumcision is.
What a wonderful pair of informed ladies, great video
You provided the best facts and debunked the exaggerated or outright lies associated with this practice. We also now have hpv and hiv vaccines and treatments that further reduce the justifications for circumcision. So we are back to the old standard, corruption and outright greed driving this awful procedure.
His body his choice. Society says that male genital mutilation is OK. No consent. Who wants less sexual sensitivity?
Circumcision is just a polite word for genital mutilation. No one should mutilate another persons genitals. Thanks for the open minded comments. I really don't know how American doctors justify this to themselves, clearly 200 million men in Europe and elsewhere do not suffer in great numbers from the ailments they claim this mutilation prevents. The damage to sexual sensitivity varies for person to person and can be minor to extreme. Bottom line, Foreskin is normal.
Its so nice to see my favorite lesbos still putting out content.
Thank you very much for spreading the valuable information
It just came to my mind that if there were not so many sexually dysfunctional men because of circumcision women may be more gratified heterosexual. Mutilating the penis changes sex and decreases a woman's pleasure
Yep uncut is better
False.
@@Maybe-cg2tn How so?
False? Why?
@@livinglifewithshariahI agree. Uncut is better. It's natural. All anteaters need to keep their snouts.
Two very wise females that have done their homework when it comes to infant male circumcision. They have covered most of the areas concerning the barbaric practice. I would have liked for them to reveal the mutilation and torture the baby has to endure during the procedure; a fact that the medical people involved never mention. The foreskin on a newborn baby is fused to the penile shaft; it is in a state of development and should not be retracted until puberty...........why?????......FOR PROTECTION.. All male mammals including humans have foreskin or sheaths........why??.......FOR PROTECTION !!The vagina as well as the penis are INTERNAL ORGANS. Externilizing the penile gland creates many problems in his later sexual life. Every circumcised male is a sexual cripple for life. 20,000 nerve endings are cut as well as the frenulum, the most sensitive part of the foreskin. As he ages the exposed penile gland continues to keritinize (dries out). Erections become painful, orgasms take longer more friction is needed during intercourse making it not only painful for himself but also to his partner eventually leading to erectile dysfunction !! A word of advice: when researching circumcision don't refer to doctors or medical people...........THEY DON'T TEACH FORESKINS IN MEDICAL SCHOOL !!!
One of the best the best circumcision video took the debate out of it laid out some solid facts confusion indecision p lack of education big problem in people suffer all their lives without their genitals a 47 years old and I'll never know what sex feels like thanks to neonatal circumcision
Just make sure you don't give your baby a high and tight circumcision because it can cause painful erections and it can cause the penis to pull inside body. I was one of those that had too much removed and it caused pain during those morning erections.
No baby needs to be circumcised. Baby circumcision is a terrible, cruel and unnecessary gnital mutilation.
We are NOT circumcising our baby, but thank you for sharing your experience. It will be helpful for others to know more about your experience.
@@lesbihonest the guy you're responding to is an obvious circumcision fetishist.

Happily circumcised in uk
For me, it is an easy decision. I am circumcised and want my sons penis to look like mine, so he will be circumcised. Also.....easier to clean, less STDs and infections, not needed as an adult.......
Mutilating a boy just because you were is a terrible reason. If you lost a toe would you cut a toe off your son? USA is so backward, an intact penis is easy to clean and does not get infected. Whether circumcised or intact, STDs are prevented by safe sex. Stop quoting myths and junk science, boys are capable of washing their dick, no need to amputate the foreskin.
@arvid yaganegi mutilating? A toe is important. That extra skin on baby's penises is not. It is more work to clean an intact penis, as the extra skin has to be pulled back. Do you want to remind your 12 yo to pull back his foreskin and clean underneath? The USA? I live in Toronto. My friend Kyra, in Toronto, had her son circumcised because her (circumcised) boyfriend wanted his sons penis to look like his.
For me it should be both of the parents choice if they don’t agree that it doesn’t get done this negative side effects
@@livinglifewithshariah good point. But most girls prefer circumcised guys, so I expect my gf would be for it.
@@livinglifewithshariah Good heavens, there are no negative side effects. Do we remove eye lids in case they get infected so we have no side effects? Should we remove toes in case the boy gets a tinea infection? This type of thinking in the modern age is backward. Teach children to wash rather than cut parts off.
