Lovely Runner episode 14 recap -
The episode begins with Sol traveling back to the day Sunjae fell for her and made sure she didn't meet him that day. She even shifted home to avoid further encounters.
Back to the present, Sunjae notices Sol stealing her boss' handbag and leaving. Sol was returning to put the handbag back after taking her resignation letter, but she collided with Sunjae along the way. Their envelopes get swapped at this moment.
Sol gets emotional upon seeing Sunjae and attempts to walk away, but Sunjae holds her hand and warns her to report the theft to the police. She recalls her initial interaction with Sunjae, when he asked why she was crying since he didn't make her cry.
Sunjae then attempts to call the police, while she runs away mistakenly taking Sunjae's red envelope, which has the name of the winner of the award that Sunjae is required to announce later.
At the carpark, Spol notices Sunjae's white hoodie stalker girl running and recalls the same girl stalking Sunjae in another timeline.
Sol found out the envelope had been exchanged upon getting home, but it was too late as she saw Sunjae announcing the winner by quoting the opening sentence of her resignation letter.
Sunjae's wrong announcement clip went viral, and his friends teased him. Hyuk sees Sol's resignation letter and takes her side. Sunjae insists it's better for her to never encounter him again.
They observe a white hoodie girl attempting to unlock the main door, and she runs away before security gets hold of her.
The following day, Sol felt sorry towards Sunjae. Later, in a meeting, Hyunju proposed Sunjae as a replacement for Dojun. Everyone agrees and asks her to email him the movie's script for approval. Hyunju accidentally emailed Sol's script to Sunjae.
Sunjae receives Sol's script, which is basically their story and begins reading it. The narrative concludes with Sonaki song, and Sunjae ends up crying unconsciously.
The next day, Sol'boss brings Sol to a restaurant to meet the actor who has expressed an interest in playing her script. Sol was stunned to find out that the actor was Sunjae.
At the same time, Sunjae saw Sol from the outside and was shocked to discover that Sol is the scriptwriter for the film in which he wishes to act. He chose to give up the role and went to personally inform Sol, but before he turn down, Sol asked him not to accept the role.
Sunjae gets offended when she comments that he does not match the image of a male character in her mind and demands that he dismiss every screenplay with her name on it.
Later, Sunjae went to meet Sol at her office. She says she's busy and declines his invitation to have a chat. He then show the resignation letter she wrote against her boss and threatened her. Thus she agrees and arrives at the same hotel where they had gone together in another timeline.
He confronts her about why she was so against him. She insists that he did not have an image of the main character she had in mind therefore she was thinking of Seong Jae Gyeong for the role. He claims she made up the reason because Seong Jae Gyeong is already too old to play the role of a high school student.
She then explains that she wants someone with a fresh image and expertise in the romance genre. She goes on adding that her shaman advised her not to become involved with persons born in the year of the horse and reject him.
He asks whether she believes in fate, and she agrees, claiming that she will not do anything her fate forbids. She leaves and begins crying on the way.
Sunjae had a dream in which he is trying to save someone while swimming. He then awoke suddenly with a headache.
Sunjae later learns from Hyuk that Seong Jae Gyeong was also born in the year of horse, and Sol was only making up excuses.
Sol receives a call from a random number and hangs up after realizing it was Sunjae. He then calls her through his manager and keeps making large deals to cast him, but she declines them all. His manager advises him to stop lowering himself.
Meanwhile, Stalker Girl tries to escape from security and bumps into Youngsoo along the way.
Sol’s grandmother went missing and family members are trying to find her. It turns out that grandma actually went to Sunjae’s father’s restaurant to have a meal. She then asks Sunjae’s father if he remembers her, which he does. Thus, they had a great conversation while drinking together.
Sunjae meets Sol's grandmother while visiting his father. He found a photograph of Sol and her grandma, along with her details on the other side.
Meanwhile, Sol was examining CCTV cameras with the help of Taesung. She receives a call and learns that Grandma has been found in a restaurant and that the restaurant owner will bring her home soon.
Taesung sends her off at home and asks her to be cautious because there are many kidnapping cases going on.
Sunjae sees them together and asks whether he is her boyfriend. She started yelling at him, assuming he was following her around, and ask him to leave.
Sol apologizes to Sunjae after finding that he was actually there to drop off Grandma. Sol's mother instructs her to get him a cup of hot tea as an act of gratitude.
She provide him some coffee, and he makes an effort to appeal her by pointing out his romantic gaze and fresh face. He noticed two girls monitoring them and instructs Sol to pretend to be his stylist to avoid rumors about them.
He calls over the girl, mistaking them for his fans, but they only require his help in purchasing cigarettes, so he becomes enraged and tells them to quit smoking.
Sol burst into laugh while witnessing this and Sunjae admires her. On the way, he ask her whether they had ever met before as they used to be neighbors, she refuses and Walks away.
Sunjae sees Sol walking back home and recalls seeing Sol returning home in another timeline . His heart began to ache after seeing those glimpses.
Back at home, Sol prohibits Grandma from visiting Sunjae's father's restaurant, but Grandma claims she did so because Sol has been missing Sunjae all along.
Taesung talks with the stalker girl at the police station, and she assists the officers in sketching her attacker, Youngsoo.
Hyunju found a lottery ticket containing the numbers Sol had previously presented to her brother. She checked out the results and saw that they had won the lottery.
Sol's boss decided to cast Sunjae as the lead in Sol's film, against Sol's objections. Thus Sol quits her job and allows the movie to proceed without her.
Hyunju tries to stop her, but Sol gets angry at her for sending the incorrect script to Sunjae. Hyunju decided to speak with her when she saw her at home.
Sol goes to the amusement park alone and recalls her birthday, when she and Sunjae went together.
Meanwhile, Sunaje was also present there for commercial filming. He saw Sol boarding the ferris wheel and immediately joined her. She becomes annoyed with him for seating next to her.
He questions why her story has a tragic ending, as male hero has lost all memory of the women he loved. She claims that it was a happy ending for the female lead because she saved her guy. But he tells her that it was nonetheless a sad ending because the female had lost her love.
Sunjae confessed to Sol that he had been feeling strange lately after reading the script she wrote. He even had a dream in which he felt he was experiencing it himself. It turnout that, Sunjae saw a vision of himself running with a cake for Sol at the ferris wheel.
Sol warns him that he might die if he becomes engaged with her. Sunjae holds Sol as the Ferris wheel suddenly brakes to stop. She notices Sunjae wearing the necklace he gifted her on her birthday.
The episode finishes with Sol's monologue of 'at that time, it entered my mind that our fate was just spinning around like this ferris wheel'
