Rate this drama out of 10- My rating - 5/10 The forced love triangle between the leads was a bit much for me. The story had a decent beginning, but in the middle it lost its true revenge storyline and became more about the protagonists' love stories. Thanks to Juwon who makes sure that Inhan receives his justice.

Hierarchy epi 1 recap- The episode begins with a student named Kang Inhan rushing away wounded mumbling that he is about to expose everything. However, before he could make a call, he got hit by a car and died from severe bleeding. Moving on to the new semester at an elite private university, Jooshin High, a new scholarship student named Kang Ha was welcomed during the assembly. His introductory speech was interrupted when Ri-an, a popular and heir to the institution, stepped inside. It became clear that the college managed scholarship students differently, limiting them access to certain privileges. Kang ha was soon marginalized by the other students, leaving him lonesome. Ri-an was in a relationship with Jae-i, the eldest daughter of the Jaeyul Group, but she ghosted him and headed to abroad three months ago. Yoon Hera, who is interested in Ri-an, uses this opportunity to win over him. However, Ri-an's love for Jae-i resurfaced when he learned of her return. The group arranged to meet on Sunday at the race track. Jae-i, on the other hand, is having problems with her family, with her stepmother complimenting her siblings above her and her father demeaning her late mother and pressuring her to alter her appearance. Jae-i, frustrated, ripped off her clothes and went for a cigarette break, where she ran into Kang Ha, who happened to be the event's pianist. She asks him to lend her his shirt so she may get presentable for the meeting. He initially declines, but eventually agrees after developing some interest. Jae-i meets Hera and Woojin on the track. Ri-an also shows up and demands an explanation for her sudden disappearance. However, she demand a race in which the winner will have their wish granted. Jae-i and Ri-an compete in a race, which Jae-i wins. She demands a breakup and wishes to part away with him not stating any reason. At school, other scholarship students advise Kang Ha not to associate with a privileged group of students given that he was chosen when a seat came up due to another student being killed by Ri-an. He nodded and went right to the elite group, greeting Ri-an. Hera was impressed and invited him to the welcoming celebration that night. At the party, Kang Ha was forced to play a series of games, which made him drunk. He tries to get his balance in the restroom. Meanwhile, an unknown person blackmailed Jae-i via messages with plenty of MP4 files. She receives texts from Ri-an requesting her to meet with him for a conversation. Ri-an puts together a nice setting to persuade Jae-i by deciding to apologize for the unknown reason she wants to break up. He apologized and presented her a bouquet, but she refused to change her mind. Meanwhile, Kang Ha had taken part in another game of truth or dare. He received a dare to French kiss any girl in the party for three minutes. He stood up and started marching directly towards Jae-i. It is revealed that kang ha is the brother of Kang Inhan, who died at the beginning of the episode. He entered the institution to seek revenge for his brother's death by finding the person responsible. He heads toward Jae-i and kisses her in front of everyone. Ri-an is completely taken aback when she kisses him back.

Lovely runner final episode recap- The episode begins with Taesung smashing Youngsoo's car as he was about to hit Sunjae. Sunjae collapses on the road after receiving all of the memories and becomes unconscious. Taesung and Youngsoo step out of their car, wounded. Youngsoo tries to flee from Taesung, but is hit by a truck and died right away. Sol hears the news of Youngsoo's death over the radio while riding in a cab. She instantly searched Sunjae's name online and discovered numerous news about his accident. She hurries to see him but is caught in traffic. She exits the cab and begins running toward the hospital. Meanwhile, Sunjae wakes up at the hospital and rushes to see Sol. They run into each other, and Sol is relieved to see him alive. Sunjae demands that Sol rewrite the finale of her script to bring out the point that he now remembers everything. Sol is stunned to learn that his memories have returned. He apologizes to her for taking so long to get back to her and for forgetting her. Sol also apologized for wiping all of his memories. They kiss one other and share a heartfelt reunion. Sunjae clings to Sol after taking her to his home. He doesn't want to be apart from her for even a moment. He believes that his soul has never forgotten her before because he once cried when he saw the necklace he had previously given her. He takes out the necklace and put it back to her. Taesung's father meets Taesung and comforts him, explaining that Youngsoo's death was not his fault, adding that someone who is destined to die may still be alive as a result of his death. One month later, Sol and Sunjae were having a hard time in meeting due to their hectic schedules. It appears that Sol is finally rewriting the ending of her script. Sunjae went to the cafe to meet Sol, as he was missing her. To avoid rumors, he watches her from a distance. He also offers dessert to all other customers, so Sol can have one as well. Sol leaves as she struggles to concentrate at her work. Sol moves to Liberary, and Sunjae follows her there while disguising himself. He began playing with her while she continued to do her work. A student watch them playing and begs him to head outside if he wishes to have a hidden relation. Sol becomes anxious and states that he is her brother, who resembles Sunjae. They leave immediately. He brings her to his home, where she can do her job quietly. She becomes concerned when he truly allows her to work without disturbing her. She immediately finishes her task and anticipates for him to spend some time. However, he insisted on dropping her off at home as she had finished her task. Sol purposefully drops her belongings from her bag to buy time, but he proceeds to get the car keys. He returned, requesting for an overnight stay, and she agreed immediately. It turned out he was actually phoning Hyuk. She becomes embarrassed and attempts to make excuses, but he kisses her. So they ended up spending the night together. Geum gathers his family to watch his first show, in which he plays the male lead's husband. It turns out that his character remains in a coma and dies at the end of the show. Nevertheless, his family supports him by celebrating his debut. The next morning, Sol wakes up in Sunjae's arms and proceeds to tickle him. He expresses his worries regarding her leaving another timeline again. She assures him by telling him that she no longer has his watch. Elsewhere, it shows grandmother dumping that watch into the river. Sunjae and Sol begin the day by brushing together, following with Sunjae teasing Sol by asking to wash together. Later, he packs breakfast for Sol, who is leaving for work, and demands a kiss before she leaves, which she gives him. Sunjae was surprised when she said she felt like a married pair. Sunjae's father saw the blurred photo of Sunjae's rumored lover and characterized her as smart and beautiful, unaware that she is sol. Whereas Sol Mom saw the same picture and claims Sunjae had awful choice in women. Sunjae buys an ideal ring for Sol with the assistance of Hyuk and the manager. He shows them the image of Sol, and Hyuk replies he has seen sol before. Meanwhile, Sunjae asks his mangaer to notify his CEO that he would be married soon. Hyuk encourages Sunjae to seek family approval first, then prepare a proposal without notifying her. Later, Sol meets Sunjae and shows him pictures of them together that have appeared in the news, and he reassures her that he has discovered a solution and thinks to propose her soon. Sunjae drops Sol, and they run into Taesung. Taesung asks Sunjae to introduce himself because he knows they are dating. They both go for a drink and discuss about Sol. During the conversation, Sunjae realizes that Taesung has no memory of him dating Sol in the past and becomes glad. Taesung reveals that he knows Sol had feelings for Sunjae since she frequently calls his name while she is drunk. He asks him to be kind to her because she was his closest friend. They get competitive again with their drinking, and Sunjae ends up getting really drunk. Before leaving, Sunjae hugs Taesung and expresses sincere gratitude for catching Youngsoo. The next morning, the Sol family goes to a restaurant to celebrate her nephew's first birthday. Sunjae's father saw Sunjae having a good time with Sol and began to like her. The members of Eclipse band shows up to perform at the birthday celebration. It turns out that Sunjae agreed to provide them new instruments and equipment and remodel their studio in exchange for them performing at a birthday celebration. After the party, Sunjae gets approval from Sol’s family for their relationship. He also extends an offer to work with Geum in the future. Grandma also wishes Sunjae a long and fulfilling life with sol. Later, Sunjae takes Sol on a ferry to surprise her by proposing with a ring. He becomes flustered when Sol playfully asks if he will propose to her. But before he propose, she reveals that she will enter a short film festival to pursue her dream of becoming a movie director. She tells him to wait for her since she would keep herself busy for the time being. He cheers for her. He realises that it is not the ideal time to propose to her, but before he can back out, Hyuk and Manager carry out the original proposal plan. To divert Sol from seeing proposal message, he covers her with his long coat. A few days later, Sol becomes extremely preoccupied with producing her short film, and Sunjae lends his assistance by sending a coffee truck to the set. She finished editing and published it, hoping to win. Finally, the drama finishes with Sunjae proposing to Sol with a ring under a cherry blossom tree, and she accepts the proposal by committing to stay with him for the rest of his life. They kiss each other followed by an insight of their wedding.

Lovely runner episode 15 recap - The episode begins with Sunjae and Sol getting stuck on an inoperative ferris wheel. Sunjae notices Sol becoming unwell and carries her out once they get off. Sunjae brings Sol home and covers her with a blanket upon noticing her shivering. She held his hand and started repeating his name while sobbing in her sleep. He wipes away her tears and keeps watching her. The manager notice him staring her while bringing Sol's medicine and begins questioning him. Meanwhile, the Eclipse boys visit Sunjae's place for a drink and learn about he had a woman over, mistaking her for his girlfriend. They began teasing him, and his manager took them out of his house. The next day, Sol wakes up and discovers she is at Sunjae's house. She attempted to flee but ran into Sunjae. She thanks him for his help, but he in turn invites her to breakfast with him. She tells him she had to rush back home. He lies to her by pretending that he forgot her shoe in his vehicle and that the manager will take 30 minutes to bring it. Thus, she ended up having breakfast with him. Sunjae, on the other hand, got a vision of him serving a lunch and feels like a déjà vu moment. In a talk, Sunjae requests her to return his favor by not quitting her job, as it was her desire to create a film. She declines, informing him that she had another dream in which she wished to see the person she loved the most live a long and healthy life. Later, they run across Taesung in the lobby, who was there for an investigation.To deflect rumors, she claims she is his business partner as Sunjae is going to star in a film she is producing. She then went with Taesung, leaving Sunjae alone. Upon returning home, Sunjae remembered Taesung referring to Sol as his girlfriend before. He wondered if Sol was mentioning him at breakfast and get envious. He becomes concerned when he realizes that Sol forget to take the medication. Sol goes back to her office the following day and apologies to her boss. She chose not to resign and to continue working until a replacement was found. Taesung reviewed the hotel's CCTV footage and discovered a suspicious cab, but the vehicle's license plate was unclear. His partner noticed Sunjae's car passing by that cab and informed Taesung about finding the license plate using Sunjae's dash cam. Hyunju and Geum are overjoyed after obtaining their lottery winning money. Hyunju allows Geum to take the audition, and the two of them go to celebrate their happiness. Sol's mother and grandmother, along with Hyunju's first child, went to the sauna and came across Sunjae's father. During a conversation, Sol's mother proposes setting up Sunjae with Sol, but his father objected, claiming Sunjae has high standards. Meanwhile, Sunjae contemplates whether or not to take the medicine to Sol. His manager saw this and offered to take it to Sol, but he declined. Sunjae arrived at Sol's house and saw her strolling along with a baby to the neighboring park. He initially thought it was her baby, but was relieved to find out it was her nephew. He watches her from a distance and hides when she looks in his direction. Sol senses someone nearby and approaches the slide where he was hidden. Unfavorably his phone slipped and fell down the slide, where Sol retrieved it. He asks her to leave, keeping his phone there while altering the tone, however Hyuk calls, and Sol realizes it's Sunjae hiding there. He slide down after getting recognized. He initially denied that he was there to see her, but subsequently said he was there to offer her medicine and express his concern. She tells to him that she couldn't get her nephew to sleep, so she takes him outside. Sunjae tries to help Sol by comforting the baby to calm down when he starts crying. As predicted, the baby vomited on his dress. Sunjae is taken to Sol's house, where she lets him take a shower in order to clean up the mess. Sol closes her eyes as he walks shirtless. Just as they were arguing over what had happened the previous night, they heard her family members opening the door. Sol quickly hides Sunjae and his stuff in her room and waits for her family to fall asleep before sneaking him out. As they wait, Sunjae started looking through her bedroom and discovered a tiny vintage clock that Sol had given him in another timeline. She attempts to grab it, but it falls and breaks. Sunjae insisted on fixing it and placed it in his pocket. He noticed a high school photo of Sol and found her beautiful. He silences her when she becomes a bit loud. She leads him out of his house while holding his hand, and he smiles. On his way out, he was horrified to see a vision of himself kissing Sol near the entrance. After arriving home, he began researching what it means to envision about kissing a woman. Hyuk notices his search and teases him, believing he has a crush. Hyuk then tells him about Taesung, who has asked for a favour to meet with him. In the meeting, Taesung tells them about Sunjae's fan nearly being abducted and request to use his dashcam to identify the culprit. Sunjae agrees to send the video to him. But soon after, the conversation turns to Sol, and Taesung continues calling her "My Sol," which bothers Sunjae. Taesung said that it was his habit when he was questioned about it. They even engaged in a competition to consume hot coffee, with Hyuk entangled in their midst. Later, when Sunjae was watching the recordings on his dashcam, he discovered a video of a cab passing close to his vehicle. Suddenly, memories of incidents involving Youngsoo began to flash through his head. Sol's boss sets a meeting with Sunjae to discuss the project. During the meeting, Sunjae suggested that Sol rewrite the ending to make it like a reset, with the male lead falling in love with the female lead again, but Sol stated that the existing ending is the best for the main character. After the meeting, Sunjae goes after Sol and expresses his feelings. Sol turns down him, stating that she has someone she loves very much and that they cannot be together. She asks him to keep his distance. Sunjae is broken but vows to respect her decision. Taesung picks up Sol and leads her home. On the way, he admits that he was not certain if he liked her more as a friend or not. Sol told him not to like her because she already had someone she couldn't forget. When she got home, she felt happier to see her grandmother recognise her. Her grandmother explains that she was going through different times in her recollection and returned to meet her granddaughter. She points out that old memories are not wiped, but rather smeared on the soul. Sol recalls Sun-jae and Tae-sung's confessions about experiencing strange feelings of love The next day, Sunjae discovered from Sol's boss that she had quit her job. On the way, he takes out Sol's small vintage clock, which has been fixed.He began to recall many memories after listening the rhythm of the clock. Sol, meantime, receives a draft of the sonaki song that Sunjae sang for her film. She starts singing along as she listens to it, feeling emotional. Taesung and his partner track down Youngsoo. They wait for him in the taxi garage, but Young-soo notices them and quickly turn to escape. Taesung gets into his vehicle and chases him. Somewhere else Sunjae began having severe flashbacks and wandered into oncoming traffic while pursuing an imaginary Sol. He gets a severe headache and pulls over in the middle of the road. Youngsoo was rushing away from Taesung. He saw Sunjae in the center of the road and was about to hit him when Taesung crashed into his car, avoiding the accident. The episode concludes with Sunjae collapsing on the road, overwhelmed by getting all of the memories of him with Sol. Sol, on the other hand, feels Sunjae calling her name.

Lovely Runner episode 14 recap - The episode begins with Sol traveling back to the day Sunjae fell for her and made sure she didn't meet him that day. She even shifted home to avoid further encounters. Back to the present, Sunjae notices Sol stealing her boss' handbag and leaving. Sol was returning to put the handbag back after taking her resignation letter, but she collided with Sunjae along the way. Their envelopes get swapped at this moment. Sol gets emotional upon seeing Sunjae and attempts to walk away, but Sunjae holds her hand and warns her to report the theft to the police. She recalls her initial interaction with Sunjae, when he asked why she was crying since he didn't make her cry. Sunjae then attempts to call the police, while she runs away mistakenly taking Sunjae's red envelope, which has the name of the winner of the award that Sunjae is required to announce later. At the carpark, Spol notices Sunjae's white hoodie stalker girl running and recalls the same girl stalking Sunjae in another timeline. Sol found out the envelope had been exchanged upon getting home, but it was too late as she saw Sunjae announcing the winner by quoting the opening sentence of her resignation letter. Sunjae's wrong announcement clip went viral, and his friends teased him. Hyuk sees Sol's resignation letter and takes her side. Sunjae insists it's better for her to never encounter him again. They observe a white hoodie girl attempting to unlock the main door, and she runs away before security gets hold of her. The following day, Sol felt sorry towards Sunjae. Later, in a meeting, Hyunju proposed Sunjae as a replacement for Dojun. Everyone agrees and asks her to email him the movie's script for approval. Hyunju accidentally emailed Sol's script to Sunjae. Sunjae receives Sol's script, which is basically their story and begins reading it. The narrative concludes with Sonaki song, and Sunjae ends up crying unconsciously. The next day, Sol'boss brings Sol to a restaurant to meet the actor who has expressed an interest in playing her script. Sol was stunned to find out that the actor was Sunjae. At the same time, Sunjae saw Sol from the outside and was shocked to discover that Sol is the scriptwriter for the film in which he wishes to act. He chose to give up the role and went to personally inform Sol, but before he turn down, Sol asked him not to accept the role. Sunjae gets offended when she comments that he does not match the image of a male character in her mind and demands that he dismiss every screenplay with her name on it. Later, Sunjae went to meet Sol at her office. She says she's busy and declines his invitation to have a chat. He then show the resignation letter she wrote against her boss and threatened her. Thus she agrees and arrives at the same hotel where they had gone together in another timeline. He confronts her about why she was so against him. She insists that he did not have an image of the main character she had in mind therefore she was thinking of Seong Jae Gyeong for the role. He claims she made up the reason because Seong Jae Gyeong is already too old to play the role of a high school student. She then explains that she wants someone with a fresh image and expertise in the romance genre. She goes on adding that her shaman advised her not to become involved with persons born in the year of the horse and reject him. He asks whether she believes in fate, and she agrees, claiming that she will not do anything her fate forbids. She leaves and begins crying on the way. Sunjae had a dream in which he is trying to save someone while swimming. He then awoke suddenly with a headache. Sunjae later learns from Hyuk that Seong Jae Gyeong was also born in the year of horse, and Sol was only making up excuses. Sol receives a call from a random number and hangs up after realizing it was Sunjae. He then calls her through his manager and keeps making large deals to cast him, but she declines them all. His manager advises him to stop lowering himself. Meanwhile, Stalker Girl tries to escape from security and bumps into Youngsoo along the way. Sol’s grandmother went missing and family members are trying to find her. It turns out that grandma actually went to Sunjae’s father’s restaurant to have a meal. She then asks Sunjae’s father if he remembers her, which he does. Thus, they had a great conversation while drinking together. Sunjae meets Sol's grandmother while visiting his father. He found a photograph of Sol and her grandma, along with her details on the other side. Meanwhile, Sol was examining CCTV cameras with the help of Taesung. She receives a call and learns that Grandma has been found in a restaurant and that the restaurant owner will bring her home soon. Taesung sends her off at home and asks her to be cautious because there are many kidnapping cases going on. Sunjae sees them together and asks whether he is her boyfriend. She started yelling at him, assuming he was following her around, and ask him to leave. Sol apologizes to Sunjae after finding that he was actually there to drop off Grandma. Sol's mother instructs her to get him a cup of hot tea as an act of gratitude. She provide him some coffee, and he makes an effort to appeal her by pointing out his romantic gaze and fresh face. He noticed two girls monitoring them and instructs Sol to pretend to be his stylist to avoid rumors about them. He calls over the girl, mistaking them for his fans, but they only require his help in purchasing cigarettes, so he becomes enraged and tells them to quit smoking. Sol burst into laugh while witnessing this and Sunjae admires her. On the way, he ask her whether they had ever met before as they used to be neighbors, she refuses and Walks away. Sunjae sees Sol walking back home and recalls seeing Sol returning home in another timeline . His heart began to ache after seeing those glimpses. Back at home, Sol prohibits Grandma from visiting Sunjae's father's restaurant, but Grandma claims she did so because Sol has been missing Sunjae all along. Taesung talks with the stalker girl at the police station, and she assists the officers in sketching her attacker, Youngsoo. Hyunju found a lottery ticket containing the numbers Sol had previously presented to her brother. She checked out the results and saw that they had won the lottery. Sol's boss decided to cast Sunjae as the lead in Sol's film, against Sol's objections. Thus Sol quits her job and allows the movie to proceed without her. Hyunju tries to stop her, but Sol gets angry at her for sending the incorrect script to Sunjae. Hyunju decided to speak with her when she saw her at home. Sol goes to the amusement park alone and recalls her birthday, when she and Sunjae went together. Meanwhile, Sunaje was also present there for commercial filming. He saw Sol boarding the ferris wheel and immediately joined her. She becomes annoyed with him for seating next to her. He questions why her story has a tragic ending, as male hero has lost all memory of the women he loved. She claims that it was a happy ending for the female lead because she saved her guy. But he tells her that it was nonetheless a sad ending because the female had lost her love. Sunjae confessed to Sol that he had been feeling strange lately after reading the script she wrote. He even had a dream in which he felt he was experiencing it himself. It turnout that, Sunjae saw a vision of himself running with a cake for Sol at the ferris wheel. Sol warns him that he might die if he becomes engaged with her. Sunjae holds Sol as the Ferris wheel suddenly brakes to stop. She notices Sunjae wearing the necklace he gifted her on her birthday. The episode finishes with Sol's monologue of 'at that time, it entered my mind that our fate was just spinning around like this ferris wheel'

Lovely episode 13 recap - The episode begins with Sol realizing that the future has changed and anything is possible. She pretended to be past Sol and left the train, leaving Sunjae behind. She intends to change the future by protecting Sunjae. Meanwhile, Young-soo arrives at the station and passes near her. The scene shifts to three days prior, where Sol gives Geum a lottery winning number for the future and advises him to use it properly in order to have a prosperous future. She goes on a date with Sunjae to celebrate her birthday. They go to an amusement park and have fun together. Later, Sunjae takes Sol to a Giant wheel and tells her to blow out the candles on the cake while he sings her birthday song. Sol becomes emotional as Sunjae gifts her a necklace and puts it around her neck. They both appreciate the importance of having presence in each other's lives and express gratitude, ending with a kiss. Returning to the present, Taesung's father pays a visit to Sol's home and informs her family about the prior kidnapping incident and the current circumstances. Sol's mother calls and urges her to return home immediately. Sol lies about being with Sunjae so that her mother does not worry about her. Her mother feels bad for not being aware of her daughter's suffering. Later, Sol'mom runs into Sunjae and queries why he isn't with her. Sunjae realizes sol is pretending to be her former version after learning about her recent phone converse with her mom. Sunjae rushes to find her in the abandoned building she reported previously. He then receives a hyuk call and discovers that Sol has never left In-hyuk's hometown. Sol calls Taesung's father and asks for his help. She then attempts to figure out the upcoming attack by connecting her memories. She sits by and waits. Later, Sol decides to entice Young-soo after noticing Taesung’s father keeping an eye on her. Unfortunately, local cops intervened before Young Soo could harm Sol. It turned out that Sunjae called the cops and asked for help. Young-soo was about to turn back when he ran into Sunjae. Sunjae recognises young-soo and confronts him. Sol finds out it was Sunjae who contacted the cops and runs towards the edge. By the time Sol arrives, Young-soo had stabbed Sunjae. The police immediately arrest Young-soo, but Sun-jae loses his balance into the ocean. Following Sun-jae's death, Sol returns to her timeline. She is attempting to live in the present as if nothing happened. Hyunjoo has now become Sol's coworker. Later, Sol's supervisor asks Sol to persuade actor Dojun, who was refusing to carry out kiss scenes and sparking a disturbance during filming. Dojun reveals to Sol that he doesn't want to do a kiss scene because his girlfriend disliked it. Sol gets angry when he tries to drive away with his girlfriend while drunk. She used force to bring him to his senses, and ended up at the police station. At the station, she meets Taesung, who is now a police officer. Sol's supervisor orders her to apologize and make a formal apology letter. Sol is obligated to write the letter, and Taesung teases her about it. Taesung invites Sol for a drink. She initially refuses and ends up becoming quite drunk. Taesung then carries her back home. On the way, it begins to snow. Sol begins to cry as she remembers Sun-jae and expresses how much she misses him.Taesung attempts to comfort her. The following day, Sol's boss feels frustrated with herself for covering up Dojun's blunders and apologizes to Sol for ordering her to write the apology. During Sun Jae's (male lead) turn, he randomly called Im Sol's phone, but she hesitated to answer it.However, she takes up the phone due of another patient's concern about noise. Sun Jae asked her on call if she knew about his band Eclipse, which she responded she didn't and was going to hang up the phone. However, the host announces that she has won a pair of shoes since she failed to recognize them. Sol is enraged with them for insulting her condition and expressing her desire to walk. Sunjae took the microphone and thanked her for staying alive, encouraging her to continue living for those who love her. Im Sol was moved by his remarks and began crying. The scene was moved ahead to December 31, 2022, when Sol appeared to be more happier and had adapted her life in a wheelchair. Sol remembers all of their embarrassing encounters and flees with his umbrella. Sol's mother contacts Sunjae's father to return the movie he rented from the store she own. He denies renting any movies. Sol returns to school and visits Sunjae's school to look over him. However, she happened to come across some boys who were smoking. She began lecturing them when Tae-sung came and intervened. Tae-sung spotted more bullies approaching them, grabbed her hand, and began running. They manage to hide in a safe location. Tae-sung goes for the cigarette, but she stops him. She remembered Taesung as her first love and was overjoyed to encounter him after such a long time. She used to find him cool, but now considers him tack. He finds Sol's behaviour odd. Taesung ran away as he spotted the teacher approaching them. While Sol was caught with a cigarette packet and a lighter. As a result, she was punished to kneel in front of the school with her hands up. Sunjae notices her and asks her to quit smoking, telling her she can leave because the CCTV cameras are fake. Im Sol seeks advice from her friend Hyun-joo on how to hook someone. She pointed out that first and second impressions must be favourable, which did not go well for Sol. Hyun-joo asks Sol's rapid transfer from Tae Sung to another boy, which leads to Im Sol remembering giving Taesung a letter the day before her time travel. Sol tries to cheer him up, and he found her cute. They listen to some music. She began to fall asleep, so he leaned her head into his shoulder. However, she kept getting closer, and he became flustered, so he pulled her away. She wakes up drowsy and promises to be with him regardless of what happens. Sunjae felt moved by her comments and kissed her. The following day, Sunjae missed the bus on which Sol was sitting. Sol was still hungover and didn't remember anything from the previous night. Sol notices her iPod has captured audio from yesterday night and listens to it. Before Sol hears Sunjae's confession, Taesung, who wants to get rid of his ex, approaches her and proposes. Sunjae, who was eagerly running to meet Sol, was interrupted by Taesung's confession. Suddenly, Sol returns to the future after a time glitch, where she remains in the river, watching the news of Sun-jae's death. Sol gives him candy and leaves. Sunjae quietly follows and observes her till she enters her home. Back in 2023, Sol wakes up in the hospital while Sunjae's funeral is taking place. Hyuk notices Sol passing by the corridor. Police pay a visit to Sol because she was the last person he met, and they present a photo of them together found in Sunjae's hotel. Im Sol is shocked and believes the future has changed. Sol returns to the river and repeats the act in hopes of returning to the past, but nothing happens. Later, Sol receives a call from Hyuk, who reveals Sunjae has felt obligated to her his entire life; however, before he can explain further, the phone disconnects and Sol is unable to reach him. The next day, Sol tries to convince Sunjae by claiming that she was possessed by a spirit, but he does not believe her. Meanwhile, Taesung appears and calls Sol his girlfriend. Sol attempts to end things with him by pointing out that she has a dual personality and asking him to treat the other sol well when she appears. Later, Sol tells Hyuk not to take Sunjae to any auditions and asks him to contact her quickly if he has anything to say in the future. Sunjae's competitor mocks him for giving up his dream. They arrive safely on land, and Sol regrets forgetting such an important detail. She cries while hugging him and Sun-jae hugs her back. Lovely runner episode 5 recap : The episode begins with Sol and Sunjae returning home. Sol asks Sunjae how he found her; he explains that he saw her asleep on the bus and misses her stop. The following morning, Sol enthusiastically calls Sunjae's name and wakes up him up to show him the rainbow. The rainbow was not visible to Sunjae, so Sol pours some water, generating rain. However, while attempting to flee from her mother, her bra slips into his balcony by accident. Sol was ashamed when Sunjae returned the bra to her. She claims the pink bra belongs to her grandmother. Sol protects Sunjae from a speeding bike on the way to school. She gives him a capsule, which they bury together and promise to meet on January 1st, 2023 to open it. Sol hopes Sunjae remembers the date and meets with her so she can change his fate, as it was the day he died. At school, the teacher was punishing students who did not wear proper uniforms. Sunjae immediately passes his tie to Sol, who has forgotten her tie. Taesung witnesses this and becomes envious. Sunjae and Taesung get punished and ordered to run a few laps. Both become competitive while running, and Sunjae wins. The 2008 Olympics are taking place, and Sunjae's father attempts to watch the match while hiding from Sunjae out of consideration. Sol also invites Sunjae to a movie to divert him from watching the Olympics. On the way, she attempts to divert him by viewing the Olympics news and puts headphones on the bus to avoid hearing the announcement. However, during the film, a false fire alarm rings and they rush outside. Sunjae notices people watching the Olympics on a giant screen and joins them. The next day, Sol was walking, listening to her iPod, when she came across a recording of that drunken night when Sunjae revealed his feelings. She was startled to learn that Sunjae likes her. Sunjae comes up and stands in front of her just as she is about to go into traffic. He informed Sol that he would become selfish and asked her to break up with Taesung.

Lovely runner episode 9 recap - The episode begins with Sol looking at the news about Sunjae's assault. She rushes to the hospital and finds Sunjae's father crying. She goes back to Sunjae's house, hoping to find his watch, which will allow her to return to the past. Hyuk confronts her and holds her responsible for Sunjae's situation. He asks her about why she is desperately looking for a watch and tells her that Sunjae lost it a long time ago. Sol returns home and learns that the attacker, young soo, held a grudge against Sunjae for helping Sol in the past. Her mother explains that Sunjae also assists police in catching Youngsoo because she has lost her memories. The next day, Sol meets Taesung's father, a police officer who was managing Young Soo's case. He hands Sol the witness report from Sunjae on Sol's kidnapping case. According to his report, Sunjae spotted Sol's book on the street on his way home on May 10, 2009. He hears Sol scream and goes to her, contacting the cops.Sol was attempting to escape from young Soo and collapsed when she saw Sunjae. Sunjae and Young-soo get into a fight, and Young-soo attempts to strangle him. Fortunately, Sunjae gets the grip and the cops arrive on time. Sol urgently searches for a watch in her room and notices her grandmother wearing one. Grandma is suspicious and informs her that she has been keeping it safe. Sol visits the hospital and sees Sunjae in a coma, blaming herself for the misfortune she caused him. She promises to make things right and clicks the watch. She travels back to May 2009, three days before the kidnapping occurred. She wakes up on top of the horse statue in campus. She falls into Sunjae's arm while attempting to get down and immediately runs. Hyun joo follows her, and Sol explains that she needs to avoid him for his own protection. She goes to the police station and files a report about her kidnapping from high school. She tells police that her kidnapper is the same individual engaged in the Juyang reservoir tragedy. She also hands them the car keys she seized from the taxi driver as proof. The police agree to investigate. Sol later buys some self-defense weapons and meets Taesung along the way. She initially mistaken him for a bully, but it turned out he was helping a kid. While discussing, Sol felt delighted to learn that Taesung had graduated and had an online clothes business. They jokes a little bit before leaving. Sunjae informs Hyuk that he senses a change in Sol's feelings. Hyuk reminds out that Sol started running to avoid him since she disliked him even more. Hyuk discovers the song Sun-jae made for Sol and mocks him for lacking pride. Sol returns home, hiding from Sunjae. At home, Geum teases her for being photographed on the horse statue. She runs away embarrassed after discovering that Sunjae had seen her dance. She then attempts to leave the camp and unintentionally walks into a wild boar habitat. She finally agress, and they both get into their respective beds to sleep. Later, Sol comes near Sunjae, anxious about their future. Sunjae pulls her into his arms as she crosses the line, and they both cuddle.Sol tells Sunjae not to cry if she suddenly returns to the future, and he agrees. They confess their feelings and kiss each other. The next morning, Sunjae's father tosses tissue paper outside as a hint to rescue him. Sol's mother notices this and helps him. Meanwhile, The four of them sat on the train to head back to Seoul. Sol suddenly pretends to be her former self and asks Sunjae to keep his distance from her.
