원래 러시아 적백내전 이후로 한반도에 러시아인 커뮤니티가 있었습니다.
백군들이 한반도까지 후퇴해서 오는바람에
어쩌다가 섞여살았는데요.
이때를 기준으로, 러시아인 커뮤니티가 생겨났고 전쟁이 끝나고 적군이 러시아의 권력을 잡았을때
그때 돌아간 사람도있고 그대로 한반도에 남았던 사람들이 있었습니다만
6.25전쟁 이후로 자취를 감추었다가
이후 에는 다시 생겨나는거같습니다.

The people of cafe baikal are from the Republic of Buryatia. It is a place between Mongolia and Russia and is a local government in Russia.
I've been there a lot because it's a place where I transfer trains every day. I went to about 3 Mongolian restaurants and 5 Uzbek restaurants. The store on the second floor that you were concerned about at first is famous for being the most delicious. However, I feel that the stores in Samarkan Blah Blah are generally similar, but Cafe Baikal has a slightly different menu and has the best taste.

I’ve met a lot of them while I was there last time in Busan. Many have interesting stories, and I was happy to be able to converse with them in Korean in all languages.

Around the late 1930s, Stalin moved lots of Koreans living in the Far East USSR to central Asia, and after USSR collapsed in the 90s, many of them came back to Korea. They settled around this street and created a community later called "little Russia".
Yes!! my friend’s family was one of the relocated families. Many of the Koreans who settled in the far East USSR fled North Korea during the war

I'm from Belarus. I was totally surprised that you found a belarusian kvas in Korea. It's my favorite kvas, very tasty and flavored. But it includes lots of sugar that's why you should drink it rarely.

동대문쪽이네요. 여기 2010년에 이미 러시아어로 된 간판이 많더라고요. 오랜만에 동네 구경해서 좋네요. 잘 봤습니다.
이 동네가 최고 전성기였을땐 2000년대 즈음이었고 지금은 쇠락해가고 있는데 그나마 몇몇 식당들이 아직 있는 이유는 이곳이 동유럽으로 나가는 물류사무실이 많아서 입니다. 동대문 옷들을 해외로 나르는 ... 사마리칸트 2층 식당은 추천합니다. 운이 좋으면 우즈벡이나 러시아분들 생일 잔치에 들어가실수 있습니다. 그러면 난생 처음 겪어보는 재미난 일들을 겪을 것입니다. . ㅎㅎ

That’s because the Korean birthrate is the lowest in the world. They will need immigrants to sustain their economy, unless they can make up the labor shortfall with technology alone (like robots), which is possible.
Interesting video... kind of wondering why those ethnic restaurants (middle east, Russia, central asia, SE asia, China) are all located in shabby areas of Seoul. There are some big Russian communities in Ansung, Hwasung, Inchon. Estimated about 100000 Russians (and keep coming) either legally or illegally mostly working at factories around those cities
Shabby areas= rents are cheap.
@@unka2007 Not sure of the rental rates in that area of Seoul but surely more expensive than the rates in big Russian communities outside Seoul. In some districts the city put up bilingual signs Korean/Russian everywhere since so many Russians moved in. I heard most of Russian "immigrants" (i use this word because they all want to stay here permanently, usually having lived here for a few months) are well accepted by the locals and their employers... moreover they send their kids to regular Korean schools so the school district came up special bilingual programs, especially for teenagers who arrived here recently. check this out Южная Корея - хайтек и коррупция 22 века / Как я устроился нелегалом
Foreign restaurants unfamiliar to the Korean public cannot do business at high prices because their main customers are foreign workers in Korea. Therefore, their restaurants are forced to be located at low rents.
On the other hand, shops selling Western and Japanese food, which are also popular with the Korean public, seem to be located in the downtown area because they can do business at high prices.

동대문 DDP 옆쪽에 중앙아시아 거리가 있습니다. 각종 중앙아시아 음식점과 가게들이 있고, 러시아식 케이크집도 유명합니다.
1996년~2000년 사이에 그쪽에서 직장생활했었는데, 1999년쯤부터 러시아쪽 사람들이 눈에 띄기 시작하더니 이젠 제법 타운이 형성되었군요.

Thank you! ☺️ i recently learned that this particular community of Russian-speakers has a very interesting story and reason for being Russian-speaking in Korea. Many of them come from families that lived in Korea back during the Korean War, and fled to the USSR. They were then placed in areas like Uzbekistan by Stalin, and many have recently decided to return to Korea and claim their cultural heritage, but speak Russian

@@20CamelsEmily They are called 고려인(Koryeoin). These people are actually more populated in far east China. Here in Korea, the most immigrated, or illegally staying for jobs are people from China, and the majorities are 고려인(Koryeoin).

서울밑에 안산이라는 도시에 가보시오 그긴 외국인 노동자가 많아 큰 마을을 이루고 살고있다오 다양한 국적의 외국인들 많소~
안산 사동 선부동 원곡동에 러시아마을 있음.....
사마르칸트 몇 번 갔는데 음식도 맛있고 사장님도 친절해요. 양고기빵도 맛있어서 집에 사오는데 가족들 다 맛있다고 잘 먹음. 진짜 러시아인과 고려인, 중앙아시아인들만 보이는 곳은 안산 다문화거리 보다는 뗏골인 것 같네요. 뗏골에 애비뉴라고 러시아 고려인 음식점 맛있어요.

저 동네 음식들 한국인 기준으로 이국적이면서 가격도 맛도 그렇게 나쁘진 않음(단, 느끼한거 싫어하는 사람들은 싫어할 수도 있음). 개인적으로 상당히 좋아하는 곳이지만 지하철 타고 1시간 거리인지라 좀처럼 가기가 힘듦.
