If anyone out there is the slightest bit unsure about the calibre and class of these 5 gentlemen's abilities as world class musicians and people ...I'm afraid that you have not been paying attention .It would be quicker to catalogue the people that they have NOT worked with over the decades as it would take you 6 months minimum to chart who they have worked with . 5 players who are cut from the same cloth and are tuned into the very soul of their profession ...we are the lucky ones .
Got to see Danny , Lee , and Russ along with Craig Doerge as the Section at UC Riverside back in the 70s . They were amazing then and always have been. They are such a huge part of the soundtrack of my life and millions of other people who have been blessed by their talents. Long may they continue to be among the best in the world !!!!

So fortunate to see these guys a couple of months ago. Unfortunately, Waddy had to play at some girl-singers show (hah). Elliot Easton filled in admirably. Long live good live music!
I heard these guys and saw their names first on early James Taylor albums. And like the documentary "Immediate Family" says, I wondered, "Who are these guys and how did they get to play with James Taylor?" I still wonder who was on piano with James T. on his tours. (I'm a keyboard guy and learned a bunch of James T. songs on piano starting years ago).
