The females join in to help the mama....just like elephants do. It's a group hug from the first breath. Sometimes a motherless fawn will try to steal the baby....elephants try it too but mama instincts are very strong...protection abides! 💞
La naturaleza con los animales es sabia, porque los bebes tienen que levantarse y adptarse al medio a las pocas horas, y las madres tienen que ser ellas mismas quienes se asisten en los partos.❤
The mother (doe) will immediately begin to clean the fawn grooming it with her tongue and she eating the placenta to reduce the scent that can attract predators because in the first few hours the baby will walk but not able to really go far from the birth location and it also helps regain some nutrition.
This is so lovely to see baby being born! Thankyou,
nature is beautiful, what a capture of a baby deer being born

Unless a coyote finds them I'm sure it happens.
Felicidades .....un nuevo bebe ciervo ❤

Beautiful ☺
What a cute baby she had
For a second, I thought the other deer at 2:10 was going to pop out a fawn too. Not quite as cute what that one birthed!
haha
How long was this without edits?
Great video.
Thanks, It took 36 minutes from the first push to the last and I spent about 1 and a half hours with this herd before I moved on.
Beautiful footage. Thanks for taking the time.

The birthing process is so nasty I skip past all that. I do like seeing the baby deer after they are cleaned up.
That's natural do you say when humans give birth its nasty? Don't watch it then
I was waiting to see mother start feeding the hungry baby... I guess it was montaged out..

Why is she eating the placenta?

Mexe muito câmera 🙄
😁❤️
7:23 What am I looking at? It's like a blood mass from the womb. 😧
If that is normal for all newborn animals including does then that's ok I guess 😅 🤔
Its called afterbirth. It will drop off naturally.
I am sorry you find it 'nasty'. Its a natural process. Will drop off naturally in animals, in humans its removed by the doctor.
It will also provide a nutrition snack for mama.
Males have it so easy lol
