Ahhh...Ozark really loves Becca...she's not nervous with her being so close to the baby...she just lays down beside her...now that's TRUST. Very special moment for all 3!
Don’t let anyone tell you differently. I’m a Morgan Horse breeder and that mare could care less about your daughter being with them. She sniffed, checked on them both, and laid down happily. PLUS that’s wonderful for that foal. Excellent imprinting! ❤️
jup the mare (or however you writh it) is accepting the daughters pressens with the foal. if the mare would not want you there she is more then strong enough to make it happen
The horse would only reject it for that reason if the mare didn’t trust the human like this mare trusts her human. You leave them alone when they aren’t bonded with you but if a mare is bonded with someone and wants them there they will let you know and if anything it only encourages the bond.
@@alexng4 Right, because so many animals can run as soon as they're born... such as human infants, apes, puppies, kittens, and kangaroos to name a few. Oh wait, they can't. Maybe next time you want to act snarky to a nice comment you should bang your head against the wall until it isn't so stupid
I grew up with a boy who raised a foal like your daughter is doing. He was always in the field with it from the moment it was born. It turned into the best horse ever. It knew what to do with every rider. He could ride it without any halter , bridle etc. Any kid could ride it. It wouldnt move out of a walk for young kids, but would fly like anything for the owner. Your daughter is so lucky to have this experience.
Also you can see the absolute trust in Ozark letting Becca cuddle her baby. She was soo comfortable she laid down next to Becca and Happy. It’s absolutely wonderful to see and there is nothing to comment negatively about. ❤
Humans need to leave the mom and baby alone when they are first born. You dont need to cuddle it. You need to let it breathe, let it experience being a horse before some weird ape comes up and starts coddling it. Leave mom and baby alone, let the baby figure out how to walk, smell, find food, bond with mom, not with you. humans are so selfish sometimes with animals, we want to cuddle them cause we think they are cute, but its not natural for them. the mom and baby deserve to be in each others presence without a human. the baby needs to learn how to he a horse, social cues, how to be reliant and listen to mom and not some dumb human. i have seen foals completely ignore their mom because they have grown reliant on the human, because the dumb human thought he needed to "imprint" on a horse. stupid people jesus...
Seeing that young lady caring for her animals and taking full responsibility makes me gain trust in humanity a lot. You as parents did a great job raising her. There are a lot of so called parents out there, having no clue what they raised if they ever had any influence. You all can be proud. You as parents and Becka as well Everyone, have a great day and stay healthy and happy
So, only this video you watched was the only thing that made you trust in humanity? I'm so sorry this was the only thing in your life that made you trust in humanity. I definitely always see many people do so good for people and animals daily. I'm so glad that I already trust humanity. Lol..More like, I appreciate all the people who do good deeds daily, who volunteer their time every day to help others to see people smile and be thankful and grateful. I see people going out of their way to hold the door open for anyone of any age. When someone holds the door for me, I thank that person. I love it when a large group of total strangers are risking their own life to save a person or a family from a bad car crash or even when the car catches on fire, because there's so much traffic, it's hard for the firetrucks to get through, so people get out of their cars and run to help the people trapped in their car, there are good and positive news from the news reporters! I think it's amazing that people around the world care for others, give food and clothing to the people in need. It's too bad you don't hear or see the police officers saving innocent people from a person wanting to end innocent lives...Or the paramedics starting someone's heart so that person can live a long life. Or all the school teachers who work long days and hours to teach children and teens. The people who adopt unwanted babies or the babies who are disabled or sick that no one else can handle. It's too bad that this one single video finally trust in humanity(It's also sad that I have seen the same exact sentence from anyone who watches one video of one person doing something good, "This gives me trust again in humanity"! Lol 🤦♀️)... I guess you don't do anything to help make life better for anyone who needs help, maybe you're hiding in your home and think the world sucks, no, the world doesn't suck..since it can't lol..People who do bad towards others are getting more attention on the news than the good and great people out there every day. The last two or three minutes of the news on t.v. wants to leave off with an upbeat story. A positive story because they want us to forget the bad news and see that there is good and fun and funny in everything and everyone who chooses to be positive instead of whining and complaining and hating and hiding in their dark room, dark mind, instead of going out there to make a good difference for yourself and others. It's sad that too many people under 30 or 40, hate this world and rely on a video to trust in humanity again! Lol 😂😂

This is a beautiful example of what happens when someone builds a relationship of trust and respect with a horse from day one. Becca is an amazing friend to mom and baby.
In a strong trusting relationship. To be able to sit with a newborn foal and love on it and mama not at all concerned. WOW! This is also a testament to you and JR, what great parents you are because you raised her to be a kind loving human. Good job to everyone! Love the name for this little foal, so appropriate and a touch of humor in it. ❤😊 Blessing to all the animals on your farm and to your whole family.
What a little firecracker that foal is. Congratulations. She's a real beauty. It's wonderful to see Ozark laying down with her baby and your daughter. How very special is that. Heartwarming.
This is absolutely one of the most heartwarming videos on youtube. Thank you for making an old man feel like there is hope for our country with young folks like you around.
When I was 14 my best friend's mare was having a breach birth and she couldn't get help because her parents were 60 miles away and our local vet was in surgery. So she called me, I had been involved in several births so I went to help. I got the foals legs out straight and then we pulled each time she pushed. We got that beautiful colt on the ground in less than 20 mins. I am in my 70s and that is one of my favorite memories. Thanks for sharing. There were no video cameras or camera phones 63 years ago. Ozark is the same color mare but Solo (his name) was black as coal with a single white spot on the end of his nose which is why she named him Solo. I am so happy for Happy getting a video for you all to remember. God bless
Thank you very much for allowing this wonderful birth to be available for those who have never experienced farm life and have never seen the birth of this beautiful young one.
Congratulations Becca! Ozark is an awesome first momma! You have a very special bond with Ozark, it shows her trusting you so much with her birthing and spending time with Happy! Dad, what a great teacher you are! You and mom are raising an exceptional young lady! Thanks mom for the nice video!!! 😉❤❤❤❤

Wow! Becca is 15, what a truly amazing girl she is- her bond with her horse, and instincts and confidence, I am sure you are very proud of her. Thank you for sharing this lovely video ❤❤❤🇦🇺

I saw the live birth & it was amazing to watch again. I can see why Becka is so in love with Happy Little Accident. She’s certainly the second Mama to her. How wonderful to actually see how much love & trust Ozark has for her. I’m also Happy to see the longer clip of Becka with Happy on her lap & Mama relaxing. Ozark is probably thrilled to have Becka around so as a new mom she can get a few relaxing moments in. Happy sure is Happy. They’re both beautiful as can be💕🐴

Awwww! The bond between Ozark and Becca is so sweet! It made me cry tears of joy! The way Ozark looks back and sees Becca checking on the filly is precious. 💕 Way to go, Becca 🥰
This is so beautiful! I think Becca IS undoubtedly the shelter Ozark was looking for before she calmed down. Congratulations to Becca and Ozark, great job Mamas! Happy is a gorgeous little baby girl, and so feisty! To Mom and Dad: Becca has been blessed with the best examples to learn from, and you've both blessed her with the love, encouragement, confidence and the opportunity to experience all of this while being the best possible version of herself. Be proud of yourselves as I know you are of her, because you've raised a wonderfully intelligent, intuitive and compassionate young lady! I am a 63 year old disabled woman now, but growing up, I was always a horse crazy City kid who should have been a country kid. I would have given anything to be in Becca's shoes! To live the kind of life she's living, was always the dream. I was blessed enough to at least have had bits and pieces of it, but not the whole of the real deal. Right up until I became disabled, I was always a very capable and physically active person. From the time I was a small child until my late 40s I was always involved in sports and thrived on hard work, some of which included interaction with horses and other animals. Horses have been a lifelong passion of mine and always will be. It warms my heart to watch this video you've shared, these precious moments in your lives, and to see that this kind of life and upbringing is still out there for the next generation to experience. Thank you.💖
The trust that Ozark has with Becca is amazing to see, now Happy is taking after her mama with her. She's going to be quite the spunky little thing as she gets older. ❤❤❤❤
That's one very special relationship between Becca, the mare and the foal......who is especially spunky...😅. Lovely to watch a natural birth and see a healthy family.
@@homesteadhorsemanship While watching the Live birth and seeing Happy stand up so quickly, it reminded me of the birth of Secretariat, aka, Big Red, who also stood up very quickly after birth... The filly, Happy, is already showing great potential... just like Ozark has proven and will continue to do so... definitely some amazing genes passed down... 🦋💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🦋
I think its beautiful that the mare calmed right down when your daughter joined her. She felt safe with your daughter there and she relaxed. I think she just wanted Becca to be there with her in this special moment, as she had her foal and that's why she was trying to get out.
Her instincts, especially as a first time mama were on point. That baby is in good hands. Nature is amazing. From where I’m sitting I think Ozark wanted a little lap time too.
I love how at the end Ozark laid down, and then it looks like she was judging the distance between herself and your daughter to ensure she could roll safely without hurting your daughter, so much trust ❤
So the foal skipped being a baby and went straight to teenager. Ozark is a beautiful horse and a beautiful mama. Thanks for showing this video. I hope both moms and baby are doing well.
Now that is truly beautiful. The love and trust between that mare and Becca is awesome. So for those of you who think it’s wrong for the foal to be handled so much nob off 🎉❤❤❤
For a mare to allow someone to cuddle her newborn & to be between them is the definition of complete 'trust'. & you're already teaching that to the fal. & If that mare wasn't ok with that young lady being in there she'd darn sure let you know it! Good job! Great mare & foal.
I love that dad was coaching her through but letting her go in and help momma & baby. So many parents would jump in and take care of the leg being bent back but giving your daughter that experience and most importantly showing that confidence in her that you knew she had it is amazing. Well done Dad (& Mom)!
My experienced mare's last two foals were up and running minutes after birth. They were huge, looking like three month Olds next to my neighbors new born. Of course my mare was a big Quarter horse, who, according to her former owner, always had a big healthy foal. Your daughter is great with handling her horse. She is a natural horse woman. PS. My mare was a great and trustworthy riding horse too.
Their motherly instincts are so incredible. We have no way of preparing them for what is going to happen, yet they know to encourage the baby to get up and move them toward nursing. It never gets old.
Becka is to be admired given a high 5. She is so loving and patient with her Ozark and baby. From one human being to another I feel proud of all 3 of them.
Omg I could literally cry right now. Ozark is the most protective mama I’ve ever seen and Happy Little Accident is PRECIOUS!!!! Your daughter is a horse whisperer and the way these gorgeous animals love her speak volumes of what a kind and gentle soul Becca is ❤️❤️
I was a childbirth coach for many years and I found myself coaching this momma as if she could hear me telling her to puuuush, puuuuuush. I really miss those days. Thanks for sharing this moment. Babies give birth to love and joy in all our hearts.
Ahhh...Ozark really loves Becca...she's not nervous with her being so close to the baby...she just lays down beside her...now that's TRUST. Very special moment for all 3!

Absolutely the baby is just absolutely gorgeous and already going to be a strong girl
Ozark is such a good mom
My jaw was dropped seeing that baby run around
It’s hard to even comprehend how that is possible

I think its beautiful that the mare calmed right down when your daughter joined her. She felt safe with your daughter there and she relaxed. I think she just wanted Becca to be there with her in this special moment, as she had her foal and that's why she was trying to get out.
Her instincts, especially as a first time mama were on point. That baby is in good hands. Nature is amazing. From where I’m sitting I think Ozark wanted a little lap time too.
I love how Ozark laid down by Becka and Happy. She totally trusts Becka with her sweet foal. Becka is an amazing horse woman! ❤❤❤❤❤
Ozark is saying…”Oh dear. I’ve got a wild child !” ❤️
Becca, you are amazing to me. You have good teachers very mature for 15 .GOD BLESS YOU IN A MIGHTY WAY
So sweet.Becka, Ozark and Happy 😭 tender moments, Absolutely perfect!
I love how mama followed her baby all the time and the little pokes she gave to her to encourage her to stand up
Congrats family! Becka did a fantastic job. And the baby is a pure delight, what a little speed demon. ❤️😄
Mama is sharing baby with pride. Now that's a blended family
OMG what a sweet baby and so full of spunk. Congrats Becka !
Little STARLETT is adorable 🤩🤩🤩 momma did great.... Can't believe she's running and playing already...❤❤❤
I love that dad was coaching her through but letting her go in and help momma & baby. So many parents would jump in and take care of the leg being bent back but giving your daughter that experience and most importantly showing that confidence in her that you knew she had it is amazing. Well done Dad (& Mom)!
Horses are such beautiful animals.
Contrary to most birth vids, this is how it is done. Perfect!
Baby Happy is Amazing 🥰🐴🥰 Congratulations to Ozark 🐴 and Bekah 👧🏻👏 . Beautiful to watch how Much Ozark loves her Bekah ! ❤️🐴👧🏻❤️
She is a VERY strong foal. Ozark is a wonderful mother. Happy days 🎉
Becca learned a lot from her dad and Happy is a beautiful little filly!!!❤❤😊😊
Their motherly instincts are so incredible. We have no way of preparing them for what is going to happen, yet they know to encourage the baby to get up and move them toward nursing. It never gets old.
A foal with the zoomies! This was so lovely to watch.
Becka is to be admired given a high 5. She is so loving and patient with her Ozark and baby. From one human being to another I feel proud of all 3 of them.
I could watch Becca, Ozark and Happy for hours. So peaceful.
Omg I could literally cry right now. Ozark is the most protective mama I’ve ever seen and Happy Little Accident is PRECIOUS!!!!
Your daughter is a horse whisperer and the way these gorgeous animals love her speak volumes of what a kind and gentle soul Becca is ❤️❤️
So wonderful to see a close bond between Becca, Ozark and little Happy!👍🏻
The young lady seems is very empathic and seems to have healing abilities.
That's your daughter's horse.. she can be there for her horse and it's baby.. you could totally see Ozark has full trust in her.. good luck Ozark ❤
Ozark is thrilled to have a babysitter so she can rest. So sweet. God bless.
Your daughter is wonderful the whole time❤️❤️🕊️✨🕊️✨
She had a nice delivery thanks for helping her give birth and get the leg out
Little Miss Happy is amazing. She is so playful and seeking attention just two days old on the Patreon video 💗
I was a childbirth coach for many years and I found myself coaching this momma as if she could hear me telling her to puuuush, puuuuuush. I really miss those days. Thanks for sharing this moment. Babies give birth to love and joy in all our hearts.
Becca those intense types of bonds are incomparable! Bless you Ozark and Happy! ❤❤
