*Just a thought,.....You should have a virtual tour of your farm in Italy. I'm certain that I'm not the only one who would appreciate that!! Have a marvelous Wednesday.*

I usually just delete or block the negative comments, but every once in a while I have a moment when I want to respond. As I see it from my position. The cost of buying the ingredients, all the camera equipment, the time spent in prep and in recipes and in editing as well as time lost or wasted due to intermittent difficulties is huge! I post my own recipes I get from Italy or my family or ones a created and share them for free to the world asking for nothing. As for some compensation I sell olive oil from my farm. I make very little from views. I do not have a team of people working recipes and acting like they are my own like most celebrity chefs, as all of what is posted is all mine in time and expense. As a viewer, you can listen to a 30-second ad for the EVOO or you can skim over it. You pay nothing and merely have to use a finger to click on something to watch me share hundreds of my recipes and totally benefit from years of work and effort by myself or my family. Rather than a thank you for offering your recipes to me for free. You complain. No gratitude. No thank you. Never a wow, how great is this guy who shares selflessly his families recipes for years for fun and enjoyment. Nope. Its let me complain to you for doing something for free because I have to listen to an olive oil plug in each of his videos. Wow, Jamie Oliver and Gordan Ramsey as well as all the big timers make millions on their videos and have a team and have paid ads and product placement and share everyone else's videos and other peoples recipes. Mine are mine alone and I don't make millions. I started this channel to share love fun recipes and family history and inspire some families to have the traditions I was blessed to have. But when I get comments and attitudes like yours, it makes me wonder why I do it, and it does take away from some of the love I want to feel and I want to share in my videos. Your behavior, however, does make me thankful for the many fans and friends who actually appreciate all I do and share and appreciate our love for family friends food and Italy. Ciao for now. Joe

@@Cookingitalianwithjoe: it was probably a negative comment out of jealousy. No doubt! Keep up the hard work. Thanks for doing what you do.
