The "I legitimately don't" line didn't get the laugh it deserved.
Chris Koelsch That line is hilarious, he just missed the timing a little I think. Really good 5 mins tho.
I think people weren't sure if it would be PC to laugh when someone says they don't know their father, even as a joke.
It was a great joke -- and perfectly PC to laugh at it -- but I don't think the audience was ready for it or even knew it was connected to the setup. For a split second I thought it was the start of a new bit.
it went over their heads... i think as another commentor said he stopped a bit too much after the line before it.
I concur. I believe the audience may have been a tad disconnected from the material on that one.
He's right, he looks like the snotty British rich boy in movies. Really funny, and the cheerleading camp paid off in that he knows how to work the audience really well.
