I love the concept but not the execution. I wish they had regular 18650 rather than the proprietary cell they came up with. Keep up your excellent work!
Thank you sir.
I agree, 18650 battery would be ideal and make this a even better buy!
I bet the cell has a 18650 in it. Milwaukee just wanna make it proprietary by putting a shell on it so they can make more money selling replaceable batteries.
That’s what most companies do. I think that batteries going to last for quite a while though.
@@txtoolcrib I understand when you need multiple cells but, I mean... for a single cell (18650) ?!? That's outrageous!
Big fan , I have one + a spare battery charger/ battery assembly . Like you I probably will buy more ! Found another benifit , the beast rides on the dack of the left hand ,for attic and crawlspace applications ! I used to run a plethora of M12 and M18 work lights , but this little guy supercedes most of them !
I too have a few M18 lights that have pretty much been relegated to the shelf because of these lights. They are just so convenient.
A very handy little Light Ben 👍🙂
Very!
I have several milwaukee flashlights and I dig em. I havent tried this one yet. maybe I need to
I have a few different ones as well. These particular lights are our favorites though. They are easy to transport and fit into places where some of our other lights will not.
These are great, another big plus is the color, that true view is highly underrated, but it makes a huge difference. Well you are limited to their proprietary batteries, the fact that they're hot swappable is probably my next favorite feature. You just swap out and you can be recharging while you're still working. I have a few of the red lithium usb lights and a couple extra batteries including some 3.0s. I agree they're phenomenal for task lighting.
They have found homes on my drill press and iron worker. Really allows you to light up your work stations with cordless convenience.
If it's powered by a removable 18650, it will become another bat charger and an output for charging phone then it would be great multilite multitool.😀
Ronnie Narvacan I hadn’t thought about it that way. I would put that into the Milwaukee suggestion box. Lol
@@txtoolcrib if Milwaukee make it, they could give me some royalty so I can afford all the multitools you reviewed.😀
Lol. I hear ya.
I agree milwaukee is the best
Had this light for about a year now, really works great for doing HVAC work in drop ceilings.
If i'm running it on the Medium brightness it will last through the first half of the day, recharge during lunch, and be ready to go for the 2nd half of the day.
Have you done a review of any Zebralight headlamps...? Those are another great product - something I carry every day in the HVAC trade - love the AA versions of their lights with Eneloop rechargables...can simply carry a spare battery in your pocket, pop out the single, weak battery, and pop in the fresh one and be back working in seconds.
I haven't. I don't use headlamps often, but I really like Fenix. In the future I will probably start looking a little closer at different lights.
I got the special pack with extra battery and charger which made it an even better deal.
Nice.
Thanks for the great review. I just bought one and I agree it’s bright and will be very versatile. Quick question can you charge it with a USB adapter attachment using an 18v lithium battery? Just curious if you had any experience with that. Thanks again for the great job!
That's a good question. I don't know, but I would assume yes. I'll have to pull out my USB adapter to check it out.
Thanks.
I'm kinda spoiled on the high lumen weapon lights, but I forget they are 1500lm for only minutes.
I'll grab one of these.
I really like them. I especially like them for the size and the magnetic bases.
Have you had battery issues yet? I've had 3 and currently only one is usable, but only has 50% runtime as when new. The actual light works great, I hope they fixed the battery problems
I have one that doesn’t have as much battery life as it used to. Probably about 75 percent of new. Apart from that, they have been working fine.
? I don't get it. Does it have a built in knife? 😉
Lol, no they forgot to put one it.
Hit Like button!!! :D
Thank you sir.
@@txtoolcrib you're welcome!!! :D
They conveniently forgot to update to USB type c
