Ultimately it depends on the traction you gain from RUclips and viewers themselves. It’s worth a try, because you never know what could happen, but if you see a downward trend in interest from your typical core audience take note. I say that out of experience. Putting out content that doesn’t resonate will certainly destroy momentum and may hurt more than help. Finding what exactly resonates with people is the real mystery, it really varies.

That’s all great advice. I’m hoping it will increase visibility to a wider audience while still offering some valuable info and inspiration. It may also help me generate new topics that I’d like to explore in my evergreen content. I suppose it’s worth a try. Thanks, Siloé!

In my experience, Cherokee purple generally turn out ‘ugly’ and ‘cat faced’ as you called it. But super delicious. They’re ugly by nature, I never did a hand pollinating or via tooth brush. 100% natural and 95% ugly looking but 110% delicious!

Yes, being an heirloom, they do turn out that way quite often, but they’re one of the tastiest!

I would say, do whatever you can and enjoy, the people that enjoy the content will come along... also, I love your veggie garden... side note, I recognized the music in the background, Do you have Mexican neighbors?

Thank you, that's great advice! This is the garden we've been trying to achieve for several years, so we're grateful to have it. The party was on the next street over, so I can only assume they're Mexican.

It's great to see updates on your work in the garden to supplement the edited content, like showing how the Hügelkultur beds are going now in summer and the pollination results from the tap method to the electric toothbrush method. Did the easement utility work get done? How did that go?

Great, thank you for the feedback! I've been using the toothbrush more now to avoid getting catface tomatoes. The sewer project should start in late Summer/early Fall and last for several months. I'll definitely make some videos about it!

Garden updates like this are great.
I'd like to see an update on the city borrowing your yard.
The Hügelkultur beds look better than last year's garden.
Do you think this is because of the buried wood? Or did you start with better soil? Or something else?

Thanks for the feedback! I figured this would be a good way to show what’s happening with the city project this year. I think the wood is already providing some benefits, namely water retention and fertility. But our soil is already much better than what I put into the raised beds, so I’m sure that’s making a big difference.
