I think this will actually help me heal, I’m 44 and was married for 21 years to an abusive husband. After I left he finally admitted to being homosexual. I am still in love with who “I” thought he was. I think a goodbye journal to him as I cling to God will help me. I don’t know if there’s anyone else out there for me but right now is my time with Jesus. We’re both heartbroken but He’s making me whole. On our wedding rings we had: Christ-U & I. The order I wanted our marriage to be. Now I see it as Christ, it’s You and I. He is my everything. ❤❤❤
I am watching this in 2023. Your words are beautiful. They are words I carry in my heart even now at 61. I have not been married nor had a boyfriend. God has me single, but my heart really wants to know a love like you are reading/writing about. I am fine alone, but also hope.
This video made me ugly cry! I am 55 now. Married when I was 19 to a non believer. We divorced after 16 years. I was saved when I was 16, but was one of those salvations that was merely a check mark in a book and moved on to the next one. I did not know what to do with what happened to me. This video makes me realize what I missed out on as a new believer. I now know that the journey I traveled was meant to be, but I seriously grieve for my younger self. Content in Jesus now. I pray that young women hear this message!
That is a wonderful journal, you shouldn't feel embarassed! I didn't have one of those, with prayers, but I did have a notebook with personal stuff I wrote and, when I met my husband, I realised he was meant to have it. I gave him my notebook and that is how he fell in love with me. So, I know from experience that personal journals can change someone's life and I encourage my daughters to journal, too - not as some sort of "husband trap", but as a tool to help them grow. I have been married for 11+years and I believe you me I always have a lot of thoughts in my head but finally committed to journaling. I wish I got into journaling earlier but here I go through the direction of the holyspirit. I am making a prayer journal for my husband now and excited. Thanks Faith. I pulled up this video because I am engaged and I'm so excited, I love my fiance so much I can't believe I've been so blessed. I wanted to make a notebook/scrapbook to give to him on our wedding day, and I wanted it to be a spiritual, prayerful Godly thing. Thank you for the inspiration.
