I got emotional when you talked about Blake getting emotional, cause having someone love you that much, to wait for you, and write you a letter until they find you is...well emotional. It still amazes me how it is possible to wait until marriage and I wish there was more relationships like that but it’s hard to have self control if you don’t have the spirit. I love the journal and you should talk to Ryan about selling his book love notes! (Cause he is the one who inspired us all) I miss the long nights of us all hanging out watching romantic movies! It was definitely an emotional, sweet time! And in all honesty, even if you have the spirit it's hard to have self-control. The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak (Mat. 26:41). Yes, I loved reading Ryan's book. I should have mentioned that! Miss all of us hanging out too, those are such cherished memories! Love you!

I tried this last year at about 6 months in to my walk with Christ. It turned into idolizing marriage, so I cut all the pages out of the notebook and repurposed it. Now It’s just about a year later and I’m going to try again with more experience, wisdom and discernment. God has been leading me towards preparing for marriage and I want to have something to remember the journey by. And covering my future husband in prayer now definitely couldn’t hurt and makes good habits for the future.
