    Props to you for making the turkey! I always get kinda disgusted when stuffing it lol. It makes me not want to have it by the time it's cooked.

    No German puts a pickle / gherkin on the Christmas tree. I am just wondering how this tradition got to America.

      We are living in Germany right now. So we got this pickle ornament last year. Is this not a tradition that some Germans do? If not that lady lied 😂 But google said it originated in Germany.

      I've never heard of it either. We put pickles in the pasta salad. They must have made a joke with you.

      Haha maybe. I think the idea came from Germany others might have picked up on it. But I like the idea of it. We will be doing this every year now. Could really be any ornament for the kiddos to find

      @@FaithMoncivais It may be that it was a German custom and you can hang it on the Christmas tree, which is fun. And the green thing isn't easy to find either. Happy Holidays.
