It most likely stripped down to the basics to be used as an alternate dressing room when tournaments are in town when they play two or more games on the same surface.
no. they still have to be there to transform it for other events when basketball isn't being played there. arenas are used all year round regardless if sports are being played on it or not and so you'll always need a grounds crew.
Or rink to court/ court to rink while you wait 4 hours in between games. Those are always the best and most challenging for the crew to do I'm sure
Nice inside look. What a huge night of transforming from Hockey to Basketball, then eventually back again.
Philips Arena is now permanently an NBA arena....the Atlanta Thrashers dressing room was either gutted or just sitting there collecting dust.
I think they shared a dressing room
Nah, it's almost always separate.
ikr
Ryan Crawford Parry Its a storage closet now

There are times where at Capital One Arena in D.C. will have Wizards/Hoyas Basketball and Capitals Ice Hockey will be on the Same Day.
Did you just assume my sleep schedule
Brooo how old are u now do u even still have this acoount?
So i'm assuming all these guys lost their jobs because the Atlanta Thrashers are no longer in the NHL.
F Dannn they moved to Carolina
Atlanta Thrashers moved to Winnipeg, Canada.
F Dannn I think he meant the people who worked there moved to Carolina because that's the closest team.

F Dannn Nashville is closer than carolina
This would be a fun job to walk the on the court and ice each day after completion
most satisfying click ever at 1:03
They act like they were the only ones in the history of mankind to ever work night shift.
Shut up
Negative ghost rider
This job is so underrated and doesn't get enough credit
I miss the Thrashers
they don't have to do that now....😝😝😝😝
PhantomGamer not anymore, the thrashers don't play in Atlanta anymore.
At little dealers they have to because pistons and redwings.
Don’t forget the Garden as well; They still do this for the Knicks and Rangers.
Billy Launders yup.
Billy Launders it’s worse for the LA people. They go through kings, clippers, and lakers setups.
RIP Atlanta Thrashers
no wonder why the court is slippery...
literally has nothing to do with it

Huh.. wonder why I got this suddenly recommended..
Hmm.. sounds like a fit job for me, working at nights is what i prefer.
Its from 2010
Must have been rewarding changing over to hockey knowing no one was attending the Thrashers games.
I'm not blessed enough to work there, but I'm a night shifter, too :)
Don't forget Toronto the Leafs and Raptors have to.
Damn, you couldn't have filmed this after a winning game? But since it was the Thrashers, thats rare
This made me tired
The Atlanta Thrashers are gone now so you don't have to that....
Merry Christmas!
