It also contributes to the dearth of common sense in the West, as common sense is a product of common people working and living in the elements to produce and build. Specialists in their offices are by nature ‘uncommon’ and therefore lose touch with reality over time.
Then, why did the farmers/ranchers stop voting for people who truly represent them & now push an agenda that only billionaires know how to run government? Why are farmers/ranchers pushing a corrupt billionaire Trump as the solution to all these problems? I was born and raised in a Texas farming/ranching family who all were forced out in the 70s and 80s. This problem is not new just because the machinations of it are different. Back then, most farmers & ranchers were Democrats. Nowadays, you can’t talk to a farmer or rancher in Texas without getting into a fight because they insist it’s going to take another corrupt billionaire to smack all the other corrupt billionaires into shape up there in Washington because they just can’t learn from their past mistakes of sending the super wealthy to Washington DC to represent them. Farmers and ranchers keep making the same mistake over and over and expecting a different result.

I have wrote in the comments before - by-design - the Plum Island Infectious disease lab (an island off the east coast) was moved several years ago to the Flinthills, north of Manhattan, Kansas which is in the middle of cow and corn country along with swine and poultry. As livestock producers, we smelled a rotten rat but our outrage was ignored. Now an endemic outbreak of disease will spread rapidly in the heartland of the US. Evil has been at work insidiously for many decades - now the 'fruit' has been exposed. I have not lost hope but it's going to get messier before the turn- around.
Agenda 2030 in part is about getting rid of meat in the US. The Vegan Agenda wasnt started coincidentally just like the onslaught of animal to human infections. Its all about the end goal.
I live in NJ so close enough to Plum Island (off the tip of Long Island), but didn’t realize they moved inland. So the diseases in the lab, which I imagine they crest some, are centrally located. Diabolical! I thought it closed permanently. What a mess we’re in.
So also in turn the USDA has been bought out by the two of four beef producers. The only real hope we have now is people buying direct from the ranchers. Otherwise complete control by the consumer is lost. 😡
@26skogen If they chip cattle, they can make the cows they chip sick. RF chips emits radiation. All government has to do is change frequencies then call the sickness from being sick from said frequencies an illness to scare the crap out of the consumer... Sound like sci-fi? It's reality... If you read the biography of North Korean refugee Yeonmi Park this will make perfect sense. Starving people are too busy trying to survive and are too weak to take back their government.
Wealthy people are always shortsighted because without a strong working class their wealth dries up & power wanes. Take beef, for example… If no one can eat beef, but super wealthy people that’s 1% to 5% of the population. There’s only so much beef one percent of the population is going to need or want so you’re pricing yourself right out of the market. And wealthy people don’t want to eat beef every day and they don’t want to stockpile beef in freezers for an apocalypse because they’re wealthy and they’ll just pay people to take care of them and they’ll eat whatever they want. Meanwhile, you have hungry mouths that would eat beef for lower price all over the world, and your wealth would increase again. Making money in a food industry of perishable goods like beef is completely dependent on how many mouths the beef gets stuffed into not how deep their pockets are. It has nothing to do with price. The beef industry is absolutely limited by logistics. The very fact that people can only consume so much beef, and then no more means in order to make money in the beef industry you have to get beef into the mouth of the most amount of people you can in order to expand your industry. If you charge $1000 an ounce for beef so only Donald Trump can afford a meatloaf anymore, there’s only so many meatloafs that Trump can consume albeit I’m sure it’s quite a substantial amount. How many cattle ranches do we need to feed one corrupt billionaire meatloaf for the next couple of years until he’s gone? That’s the problem right there in a nutshell. Just because people are wealthy doesn’t mean they’re smart. Just because someone is good at tricking you out of your money so you feel duped doesn’t mean that person is smarter than you are. And it certainly doesn’t make the super wealthy qualified to govern anyone. Americans have got to learn that.

Trinity, This interview with Bill Bullard is probably the most important interview you have produced. Bill gets to the point real quick, is articulate, and speaks simply so the average consumer can understand the problems. Obviously, you know the right questions to ask him (probably because you already know the answers.) I’ll post a link to it for others to see. And a topic I’d like to see you tackle… Here is a concern I have about agribusiness by way of a first hand story…I’m a minority stockholder in a 4th generation family farm on which my grandfather raised crops and angus cattle. Twenty eight years ago my mom bought her sister out. At the time she could afford to do that only because the crops produced on that land under a crop-share lease would generate enough income to make the land payments. Today, a 540 acre farm 3 miles away in the same county was purchased for $19,000.00/acre by Bill Gates and one of his shell companies. Do the math. There is no possible way to make a land payment from crops grown on those acres given commodity prices today. So, how does a small farmer or rancher keep a farm in the family and pass on the generational knowledge of how to farm/ranch to the next generation? It isn’t just cattle producers getting squeezed out of the market. There have been two very bad years for commodity prices and this one isn’t looking too good at this time. I’m concerned farmers/ranchers are the next serf class in America. Soon very few will own the land they farm and then they will be asking themselves why am I working so hard for so many hours a day for so little pay. Then we’re really going to have a food shortage crisis.
I think the producers should get the most money. This is why you should go find a good rancher. Buy from them and have it processed by the small butcher shops and this will help the Rancher the butcher and you family. The beef is better quality cause you know what you are getting and what it’s been fed. When you buy at the grocery store you don’t have a clue what you are getting. Once the hide is off they all look the same. I am for helping the rancher and the small business man. This is a win for everybody except the big Companies that control it all.
It seems like the deck is stacked against the American Rancher. This is so disheartening, the corruption is palatable and its not the taste of beef, its pure greed and control.😢😠
Most white Consumers don’t care. As the remaining white population is replaced by other specimens, they’ll want even lower grade industrial “meat” way more.
The deck is stacked against anybody the produces anything. Bankers, politicians, and middle men now hold all the cards. But aint that the american way?
This has been going on since I was a kid in the 70s & I’m sure it was going on before that. it wasn’t the exact machinations they use today, but my grandfather and uncles lost their small cattle herds because there just was no money in it for the little guy and only big ranchers were making money off beef. that’s how long this problem has been going on. And the obvious correlation an intelligent person should notice is it’s the same amount of time that Americans have demanded that only super wealthy people represent them in government. Everyone in Congress is a multimillionaire or a billionaire. Farmers and ranchers keep putting a fox in charge of the henhouse and wondering where the chickens have gone.
Tool up the laboring my hinny! Just enough time for those in congress and senate to fatten their bank accounts. Keep up the good work Trinity I always leave your channel with awe and amazement.
No one in Washington, D.C. gives a dam regarding America and Her citizens, why do you think they DESTROYED our Constitution and Bill of rights, where are the majority of Americans that say ZERO??? That's happens when we have corrupt self serving politicians that fill their pockets, right PELOSI, Right Biden???
Capital in US businesses is usually allocated on a reward/risk ratio in a competitive well functioning market. The cattle ranchers have the highest risk in this supply chain. When an actor in the supply chain receives higher reward without proportional risk then imbalance and/or corruption exists. The ranchers need to join together, strategize, plan, and use first producer power and the legal system to end this injustice. US consumers need to support US ranchers in this effort.
Good luck doing this when consumers are squeezed so hard and media is controlled by another corrupt group who share ties with all the other conglomerates.
Good job ! We are retired dairy farmers and of course have "seen it all" as they say. Yup---lots of stuff can happen . You described the birth issue well. Thanks. Always fun to see what you are up to there. The non-farmer person just can't possibly know what is entailed in raising livestock. You are presenting it well.
Unless they bother to learn by watching things like this, by talking with food producers and raising food. I am thankful for when I can get local food.
Why in the good gracious would a non-farmer be wondering what is entailed in raising livestock? Most people will get their meat for the cheapest price possible. Not everyone has access to a ranch. I do not drink milk so care less about what is entailed in raising dairy cows. Eat mostly moose, deer meat, poultry & some fish.
Thank you so for all your videos! Those of us who farm and raise on a small scale need this information. All our beef, pork and goat go to a local processor and i send him your videos also. Also sharing to others. Your a blessing ❤
Mr. Bullard displays an amazing knowledge of the cattle industry. I wasn't overly interested in the topic but I thought the interview was riveting. Big business rarely benefits the average person.
Great interview Trinity! I've said for years that if the government regulations didn't favor the big guys us small farmers and ranchers could be competitive. To much government regulations in all aspects of our personal and private lives.
The outside 3rd parties have always starved the people, not just in farming but in multiple industries. Had to change my direction in life 4 times because of this and sadly those who profit have no clue what goes into the production side. We'd be wise to start changing this BEFORE they destroy our most important assets... the generational family farmer/rancher cause they know their craft! This just breaks my heart. Im glad you post these interviews as I know Car...gill situation, know people who worked in that industry and I would far rather see my local ranchers in charge.
You know, the con artist is winning whenever the dupe, sucker and patsy all blame some insignificant little detail in the scam, rather than the people who perpetrated the scam. American lack of critical thinking is staggering.

I don't do it for 100% of my meat but I try to buy more at farmer's markets. Even found a local little beef and pork producer who is doing CSA style where you pay ahead for a certain number of shares then when they have packaged meat you pick up a variety. It's quite a bit more than the grocery store but not astronomically so. AND I get to know the actual producers and it's WAY WAY better quality, especially the pork. Amazing stuff.
I have really enjoyed your videos about the cattle industry. I grew up working at my dad's feedlot and while I didn't go into the business (I think my dad would have discouraged me) I have fond memories of working the ranch. I recall my dad talking about the industry and how it was getting hard and I remember local packers closing. He got out at the right time but he dearly loved what he did. It was never work for him. My cousin in Montana (a rancher) sold most of their cattle because they can't make money. I wish there was something I could do to help. I look back on my memories and it makes me sad to see all these ranchers go under doing what they love to do.
Thank you for this video and interview. Consider myself pretty well informed but until now didnt know of these issues facing our cattle farmers. I want to buy American beef!
My wife and I (25m & 23f) bought 5 acres in June 2023 with the goal to homestead and become self sufficient. We now have our own beef, goat milk, pork, chicken eggs, and meat chickens come in Aug. Me and my family will not reply on anyone for our food. We have lost our way as a people and as a country. When someone controls your food, they control you. Man, you have a serious problem in the USA . Unfortunately what your guest had to say is completely correct and it’s not just the beef industry that is affected, just look at the huge hardware chains and what this industry has done to the smaller local businesses. Not only the monopolisation of an industry as a whole but the price manipulation of a given product. Small businesses must be supported to enable and ensure best products for consumers. We all need to know exactly where a product originates from, be it food or anything else that we use on a daily basis.
You forgot to mention that huge amounts of land are being purchased by Uber rich for hunting and those ares are too expensive for young would be farmers or ranchers to purchase.
Glad to see the truth coming out. So many people are saying that millennials are lazy and just complaining. What we are experiencing is real and its only going to get worse until people humble themselves and work together against corruption.
I don't know enough perhaps about the whole thing and hence I'm watching the videos to educate myself but, if I was doing the ranching I would go direct to consumers but instead of using a UPS type service I would use last mile couriers which have warehouses all over the country already and move cold chain items really quickly and more efficiently than UPS might due to the sheer size of UPS and FedEx, also I would make sure to beat their prices at the store because without that it just won't work, so I would workout transportation costs 1st. Then backwards to the whole animal operation to come to a price, in fact I own such a transportation company and I can take on easily take on 300 daily deliveries throughout 5 counties, receive today send out tomorrow and all delivered next day no sweat. Won't mention the state, but this is highly achievable.
That guy needs to go out to pasture .any one who will not try and form a alliance with farmers and ranchers to keep the ranches and farm land that he states is being bought up by outsiders with big money but no interest in farming and ranch is not helping american much less montana

The problem we have in the USA is the concentration of the entire industry in very few hands, whatever it may be, the United States will take a long time to solve that, the solution lies in the voters and they do not have enough education to do so. Thank you Trinity for educating us. We need a new generation of politicians to fix this and get our country back to what we all want it to be.
I buy from a farmer diwn the road and its processed 15 minutes from my house. I pay about 45-50% less than in store and thats grassfeed and gain supplemented but not grain finished. Super rich, red beef.
Where i went to school in the 70's we were all farm kids and now there are no farm kids in that area 😢 very sad i was actually excused from school for farm work many times ❤
Been buying my beef for the last couple of years directly from a small time rancher who is complaining about this very thing. I told him to hang in there as a fellow business owner I understand his position. I try to get the information out there and buy half cows with other people, family and friends from him to help keep him going. I’m paying more to do it this way but I can afford it and the beef quality is much better than store bought. I know not everyone can do this but if you can afford it, look into finding someone close to you that still raises cattle and try buying from them directly. You will need a small freezer of course but it’s worth the extra cost and effort. And I think this is the only way to take more profit from the grocery stores and give it back to the rancher. If we do this in high volume we can move the needle back the other direction. Hit back against this predatory behavior!
Let’s do it! I am with you. This would require grocery stores that can not be “bought” and re- opening local butcher shops to get meat from farm to market. The marketing advantage is that people are realizing that their sickness is being caused by processed foods. This will work. I want this product. All meat including chicken.
Same thing happening in Australia, way too much power and assets given to a small number, the little guy being screwed over. A lot of farmers/cattle growers getting out of the game
Ouch. There was one thing that he mentioned that wasn't quite true, during 2020, a lot of meat was tied up in proprietary restaurant meat. What that means is that it can't be given to a food bank, or sold by any other means. That meat expired and was thrown away.
As someone sitting here in suburban Connecticut, I am grateful to see a man with a cowboy hat and a mustache. It really takes me back to the good ol' days.
They need to make it possible for small producers to slaughter cattle and sell it by the pound with usda interference. The slaughterhouses with inspectors are rare and expensive. Very difficult to do. Favors the big producer.
Interesting how he says that US beef is safe, from a European perspective it is anything but. Anyway, very interesting discourse and a massive problem in the industry. These videos discuss interesting topics. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for going out and getting this interview. There are many points on which I will comment. First and foremost, as a Canadian producer, fight those ID tags. A total waste of time. Yes, it's totally about government control. Everyone up here, including vets hate the department that administers it. I find it interesting that our country and your's both claim to have the safest food systems in the world. I believe I've heard the same comment in an Aussie interview once also. Mandatory country of origin labeling. Here's a very interesting subject. I noticed he failed to mention why it was dismantled in its original form. It was struck down by the international trade commission as it didn't qualify under the NAFTA. He also failed to mention about the correlation between consolidation of the packing and feedlot industry during the implementation of Cool. The loss of feedlots and smaller packing houses (12 or so) was quite predominant. To lump Canadian beef in with Uruguay is embarrassing. Especially since the USA imports beef cattle from Canada to feed from the West. In return we take Eastern US cattle to feed our Eastern population. Most of those cattle are dairy influenced. The MCOOL will once again shrink your feedlot industry. It will also be repealed after much money being spent at the world level on lawyers! It seems that someone wants ranchers removed from the land because they are independent by nature and that scares them.
I am from Bulgaria, the ex communist block, I can say from the position of experience, this guys know the socialistic systems very well and know what they're talking about. Good, very good. Very useful information.
We have a few local farmers where they have a local slaughter house that covers our area. This video certainly makes me now want to continue to support them even more. We see a devastating effect on our society if we completely lost our local farming community we once had. Buy local now has a different meaning than before.
The same thing happened in the pork business. Our government allowed and is allowing this to happen. We need more small to medium packing plants for our small to medium producers. We can label our products so the consumer sees our labels and the consumer can decide.
Montevideo/TodoElCampo-Uruguayan beef exports to the United States grew significantly in 2023 as a result of the weakness of the Chinese market and high meat prices in the US market. In December it was the main destination for chilled products with 700 tons, while frozen exports accumulated 7,062 tons. During the year, chilled exports to the United States increased 50% and frozen exports 30% to 4,491 tons and 50,794 tons, respectively, remaining the second main destination behind China.
Great interview and video! I believe more and more small community private processing plants are in our future. It's the only way I can see taking the control back. I just don't know if there would be enough community support in different areas.
Cooperation is the answer to centralization. We need to come together to build organizations that are focused not on capturing value but on supporting our communities.

One of my best friends geowing up had a family dairy and feedlot. They were close to the river and had good fertile soil to grow plenty of silage. Thank you for having this conversation and posting it to RUclips. So unfortunate to hear this is going on. However- knowledge is power and we can vote with our dollars. Buy direct from US ranchers!
You're very welcome
Yes, I’m sure voting a meatloaf loving multibillionaire into Office is going to solve everything when it’s the billionaires who did this in the first place. 😂
Please explain how everyone can buy direct from US ranchers? How long have you been buying direct from US ranchers?
I remember how frightening that sounded. The last few years have revealed the plan.
The island where d¡seased birds Xcaped?
I live in NJ so close enough to Plum Island (off the tip of Long Island), but didn’t realize they moved inland. So the diseases in the lab, which I imagine they crest some, are centrally located. Diabolical! I thought it closed permanently. What a mess we’re in.
They also have a lab in Montana doing disease experiments on pigs.
So also in turn the USDA has been bought out by the two of four beef producers. The only real hope we have now is people buying direct from the ranchers. Otherwise complete control by the consumer is lost. 😡
I buy local but if the avian flu that is hitting dairy herds starts to affect more farms and ranches we will have an even bigger problem.
@26skogen If they chip cattle, they can make the cows they chip sick. RF chips emits radiation. All government has to do is change frequencies then call the sickness from being sick from said frequencies an illness to scare the crap out of the consumer... Sound like sci-fi? It's reality...

It was gone when USDA was put in place to tell you its for your safety. That was the begin of the over reaching policy.

Trinity,
This interview with Bill Bullard is probably the most important interview you have produced. Bill gets to the point real quick, is articulate, and speaks simply so the average consumer can understand the problems. Obviously, you know the right questions to ask him (probably because you already know the answers.) I’ll post a link to it for others to see.
And a topic I’d like to see you tackle…
Here is a concern I have about agribusiness by way of a first hand story…I’m a minority stockholder in a 4th generation family farm on which my grandfather raised crops and angus cattle.
Exactly.. it's coming I'm afraid to tell ya
🇺🇲Make America Great Again 🇺🇲
Tyson is a no-go, so now we are down to 1. Find a local grower.
Tyson poisoned a competitive chicken raiser farm. They dumped next doorand killed his chickens. He refused to sell to them. So they dumped poison
What is a local grower of what?
Chickens
Lord please let this info go massive viral global wide. Great video guys.
Trinity: always knowledgeable; always inciteful: always timely. You have stretched my horizons. Thank you for your channel.
Go to the smaller mom and pop butcher shops, they often have local raised meats.

It's very valid, I myself am going to school to study and learn more of agriculture but I doubt I will do much with it because of the high cost

"If the 'government' pays for the chip ....." , the government gets its $$$$$ from "We, the People" !!! So we are still paying for it!!
Less competition is never good
I don't know enough perhaps about the whole thing and hence I'm watching the videos to educate myself but, if I was doing the ranching I would go direct to consumers but instead of using a UPS type service I would use last mile couriers which have warehouses all over the country already and move cold chain items really quickly and more efficiently than UPS might due to the sheer size of UPS and FedEx, also I would make sure to beat their prices at the store because without that it just won't work, so I would workout transportation costs 1st. Then backwards to the whole animal operation to come to a price, in fact I own such a transportation company and I can take on easily take on 300 daily deliveries throughout 5 counties, receive today send out tomorrow and all delivered next day no sweat. Won't mention the state, but this is highly achievable.
Excellent information. Im passing this video on to friends.
I think it would be interesting to have Sen. Tester on the channel to discuss this issue.

So well spoken is this guy!
Once again you’re spot on, great info if everyone would view.
Let’s do it! I am with you. This would require grocery stores that can not be “bought” and re- opening local butcher shops to get meat from farm to market. The marketing advantage is that people are realizing that their sickness is being caused by processed foods. This will work. I want this product. All meat including chicken.

Ouch. There was one thing that he mentioned that wasn't quite true, during 2020, a lot of meat was tied up in proprietary restaurant meat. What that means is that it can't be given to a food bank, or sold by any other means. That meat expired and was thrown away.

Thank you for posting this. I think there is a large lack of awareness to the nefarious plans to take over the beef market.
One of my best friends geowing up had a family dairy and feedlot. They were close to the river and had good fertile soil to grow plenty of silage. Industry standards and slaughterhouse closure shut down most smaller dairies and local feedlots, theirs folded in the 2000s. It's a housing development now.
