Great stuff, Let me know how your bike is once you fit them. It’s their video that show me the different spray patterns. I know they test and pair them up so you’ll be in good hands from what I’ve read. No problem, thanks for watching and commenting 👍🏻
Worthwhile upgrade. Did mine while rebuilding my GS owned by me for 24+ years. Put a Techlusion R259 tuning box on way back in about 2006 and been on the bike ever since to help with the surging issue many of these suffered with. Didn't refit the tuning box when re-building (I just forgot!!) and only realised I didn't put it back on when I came across it in a box of bits. Hadn't noticed any surging or rough idle and in fact she's running very sweet. So I guess the new injectors have made a difference.
Completely agree, definitely worthwhile and I’ve noticed the difference they make, it’s now smooth and a bit more spritely 😄. Ah, I hadn’t heard of the tuning box before, but great to know you feel the difference with the new injectors as well…. Especially after not refitting the tuning box!
Thanks for watching and commenting👍🏻. I hope you get the same results as me! Mine is a bit more responsive and smoother than it used to be so I’m glad I made the change👌🏻
Hello!! Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment, I really appreciate it! It was enjoyable to do this upgrade and I’m happy with the difference it’s made to the bike so I hope that you find the same difference if you’re doing it to your bike too 👍🏻
Yeah it definitely revs different, much smoother….. hopefully it’ll stay smooth when I manage to get it out, the aches and pains need addressing this weekend as she’s a pig to fire up 😄
Hello, very interesting video. I will wait for next one, so you tell us is there a comparable difference between old one and the new 1200 injectors. My 1100 goes very smooth, so I really hesitate to make this switch...it takes about 4.7 to 5.5 L/100 km. I have zero problems with my original injectors, but I am still thinking about upgrades...
Awesome, I’m looking forward to the test ride and will make the video as soon as I can. Yes that makes sense, if your bike is already smooth, it could be an unnecessary change. Thank you for watching and commenting 👍🏻
I went through this process with my 1100RT. The improvement from the 1100 to the 1200 injectors is greater than from the 1150 as the 1150 ones were better anyway. I do find the throttle response smoother particularly when riding on and off the throttle at slower speeds, I guess that’s down to better fuel atomisation? If you can afford it I would definitely recommend it 👍
Hi Rich! I haven’t managed to get it out on the road yet, but will let you know how she goes, on tickover, it’s definitely smoother 👌🏻 I haven’t managed to get the multimeter out yet as it was only a flying visit home, but will get in to it over the coming weekend and hopefully get it sorted. I’m going to get all the readings done, but I’m thinking it’s the Hall effect sensor because it’s an absolute pig to start since the wet weather has come in, so I’ve bought a load of clear heat shrink to seal up the cracked insulation on the wires and will work from there. It’s a fun old game 😆
@@MALVSMACHINE HES sounds about right. There is a chap in my neck of the woods who rebuilds them - can find him on avdrider - a few hundred pounds but well worth it!!
Cheers Rich, only just seeing this reply …. RUclips doesn’t notify me of replies for some reason, I just happened to find a filter to comments that are replies that have not been responded to.
Hi! No problem, thanks for watching. I disconnected the fuel lines to depressurise it. Prior to this job I fitted the quick disconnect coupling kit to the fuel lines which makes disconnecting/connecting the lines much easier to do and came in handy for this job.
The battery drain feature I mention in the video is possibly the Hall effect sensor(wiring?). As always, thanks for watching 👍🏻
I was over the moon when I fitted mine, smoother tick over and smoother acceleration. Well worthwhile doing👍🏻
I’m hoping I feel the same Joy Alan, tick over does sound a load better so I look forward to riding it 👌🏻.
I just ordered the kit from injector-rehab. Hope it works for my r1150gs. Thanks for the insturctions!

Just purchased a set of these based on your video...Fingers crossed. Great video!!

Yay Content!! Nicely done as usual and everyone loves an upgrade!
Yeah man, a nice easy upgrade too!
Hi! 'First of all huge Thanks for the effort!
The video explains everything very well and clear!

I got mine from John Gemi, fitted I haven’t ridden… but revs different.
Yeah it definitely revs different, much smoother….. hopefully it’ll stay smooth when I manage to get it out, the aches and pains need addressing this weekend as she’s a pig to fire up 😄

have 2004 with 4 hole injector
Ohhhh.. ah have to look into this!!
Thoughts about the battery issue.
Exactly what is the mA drain while off?

How did you depressurise the fuel system? thanks for the video.

Just open the filler cap on the petrol tank
Ooooh nice jacket! Where can I buy one? #buymymerch
Thanks mate! It’s a lovely and warm one of a kind 👌🏻
