I love Tom's answer about the love between Snow and Lucy, "What even is love?...does love have to be this pure thing that comes out of nowhere? is it out of circumstance? what one person needs from another?" Because indeed love is not that simple and love isn't always unconditional. Sometimes circumstances push us into loving someone but it's still love at the end of the day - we have different ways of showing love - some probably borderline or actually questionable such as in the case of Snow.
Ikr his answer was very good and spot on. I think Coryo did love LG truly but does thst character even know what love really is or how to handle it? As Tom said LG is chaotic for him or symbolizes a chaotic world and Coryo is afraid of losing control so that's not a good ground to build a relationship on. But that doesn't mean his feelings weren't authentic or true
Love the questions the interviewer asked and how well spoken she is. Nice to see the new trend of interviewers diving into complex questions about the movies that are being promoted. I can tell she is a fan of the franchise which is nice to see with some of the questions she asks and how easy the conversation is navigated after each question.
Yeah this interviewer killed it. It wasn’t just like “what’s your favorite thing about your character?” And more like “explain what kind of struggle your character goes through and how you played that so convincingly” ❤
My biggest question is how did Lucy maintain a southern accent when singing? Like mastering an accent is one thing, but singing in it A WHOLE DIFFERENT THING
Tom blyth and Rachel zegler’s understanding about the murkiness of Lucy and coryo’s relationships was perfect. Lucy and snow had such a complex relationship and it was deliciously displayed and directed
Such a good interviewer! Focused so much on them as their roles and acting instead of digging into their personal business, and letting them talk! Insightful questions. Breath of fresh breath air.
Great interview! There's actually substance in this. I am happy that Rachel and Tom understands their characters well. Being a fan of the books, I learned something new too!
@20:49 Interviewer: You guys are kinda dreamy! I’m been watching all in the interview and I’m seeing it! Just putting it out there! Rachel and Tom: 😊❤ thank you *stares at each other* Josh: 😕
For the first time, after the COVID pandemic, I feel that there is hope for the world, it's refreshing to see that Gen Zers are smart, thoughtful, self-reflective and open-minded in a good, grounded way- grounded in reality and honesty.
what a great interviewer! pushing the cast for some deeper complex discussions when she senses they can and also balancing with some lighter topics to get the cast to open up more
The fact that we get reminded that he is human actually made me dislike him even more. He’s a person who went through the same trials and trepidations as others, not even the worst ones might I add, and he ends up being so horrible towards humanity??? The movie reveal that people, not monsters, but people are capable of some very ugly stuff. Not that it’s new knowledge.
especially when you think about how tigris when through almost the exact same things coriolanus went through and yet she still had empathy and kindness
Well yeah it's your experiences but also your choices that make you who you are. He had so much fear of losing control because that would make him feel unsafe (like it was when he was a child). So that fear decides all his choices. Also he reflects a lot on his actions but he never looks in the mirror. He would not even consider to be the one who acted wrong in a situation that he creates this spiral of glorifying his own behaviour. Idk how to say it better. I really love the movie but in the book his development is explained better because like half of it is Coryo's thoughts. When I read it I was analyzing this character as if I was back in school again lol
The story humanizes him at the beginning, but he is still learning how the world around him works in the Capitol, then he gets a look at District 12 and it works there, and then by the end you see he is clearly all about himself. What and who, he throws under the bus to save himself, or throws into the lake, or the bird cage to save himself at the expense of who were supposed to be his friends.
Exactly! You’d think spending time in 12 & getting to really SEE what the Capitol subjects them to would make him empathise with them but nope. Not even a tiny bit of compassion.
another thing is when he hit the boy to escape from the hunger games' arena, that moment scared me cause somehow he does not feel guilty about it, but then his sister calmed him down, i think it's just temporary therapy cause he's bad at the beginning, the environment just stimulates him more to show who he really is.
The movie was spectacular. It made me feel so nostalgic because I really missed this type of movies, my 12 year old it's alive again. I love them, this is a perfect cast.
Hunter talking about being from North Carolina I looked her up and we're from the same town what 😮 I even used to do band stuff at her high school when she was there
Just saw it yesterday. Liked it but the pacing with three acts was off. Act three starts late into the movie but still is an hour and never is as good as the first two acts so it makes the film feel uneven and slow in some areas.
Is it just me or did Rachel not answer the first question? (No hate). I was just really looking forward to her answer about Lucy’s relationship to her location as these new borders were being enforced and a question not focused on her relationship with Snow. I felt like she answered a different question entirely?
I think we will never know why because the author said that she left Lucy's ending open for us to make our own theories, even Rachel herself wants to know what happened to Lucy Grey.
Lols you’ll be watching. Your weirdo obsession with hating someone you don’t even know is pathetic. And you clearly knew she was going to be in the movie so stop pretending
Truly it’s you’re loss. People really jumped on bandwagon of hating her, based on what? She made a couple of comments and your think she’s deserving of this type of vitriol? How would you like to be judged based on some flyaway comments you made in your past? We all had those moments. Gosh, all this energy to hate is hilarious to me, people are treating her like she committed war crimes.
She did not. Her singing is breathtaking. Random haters who treat her like she committed genocide are the ones that need to rethink their lives lmao. the overtop outrage is so perplexing to me?! Mild annoyance and irritation sure, but people are saying deeply cruel things. I feel so bad for her

Yeah this interviewer killed it. It wasn’t just like “what’s your favorite thing about your character?” And more like “explain what kind of struggle your character goes through and how you played that so convincingly” ❤
The questions were OK. She couldn't get the characters first names right so I wouldn't go giving out awards lmao
My biggest question is how did Lucy maintain a southern accent when singing? Like mastering an accent is one thing, but singing in it A WHOLE DIFFERENT THING
it's actually pretty easy if you grew up listening to country and mimicking the singers
It’s actually an Appalachian accent, which is similar to be fair. Also it’s Lucy Gray
Rachel Zegler is ridiculously talented and I’m sure she just listened to a lot of country/southern music to mimic the mouthing to sing it so well ❤
Try singing an Arctic Monkeys song without a little bit of an English accent
That's the theatre kid super power
Tom blyth and Rachel zegler’s understanding about the murkiness of Lucy and coryo’s relationships was perfect. Lucy and snow had such a complex relationship and it was deliciously displayed and directed
Jacqueline is such an incredible interviewer. Nice catch for Fandango.
This interview gives me major English class analysis discussion vibes and I absolutely love it!
Rachel: We would love to come back
Josh: *smiles through the pain*
He don’t wanna third wheel no more😂
Aww when she asked about them possibly coming back for future films and Rachel saying yes before looking back at josh aka sejanus I was dedddd iykyk
SAME lol
Such a good interviewer! Focused so much on them as their roles and acting instead of digging into their personal business, and letting them talk! Insightful questions. Breath of fresh breath air.
The way Rachel looks at Josh at 8:37, I love them together🥹
what a great interview. i love them all! also the way Josh got silent and just smiling through the pain during the last question omg
Poor Josh lol
“You don’t have to learn any lines!” 😂
Great interview! There's actually substance in this. I am happy that Rachel and Tom understands their characters well. Being a fan of the books, I learned something new too!

Josh: 😕
this was a great interview, everyone is so well spoken! amazing job to Jacqueline for leading such an awesome conversation!!
They’re all so well spoken I love them
Hunter is not well spoken at all tbh, especially compared to Tom and Rachel.
She always has great questions, this interviewer like viewers and the actors probably leave feeling great afterwards and she’s funny
For the first time, after the COVID pandemic, I feel that there is hope for the world, it's refreshing to see that Gen Zers are smart, thoughtful, self-reflective and open-minded in a good, grounded way- grounded in reality and honesty.
3 of them are millennials 😅
@@rinowaters7156no just josh & tom… hunter & rachel are gen z

The way Rachel looks at her Josh🥰
Rachel, Tom and the whole cast were exceptional in this movie. My favorite in the franchise.
Amazing questions were asked, and the actors answered them equally satisfyingly😌

Fandango has the best interviewers, getting people who love the source material leads to thought provoking and captivating conversations! ❤️🙌🏻
The movie was spectacular. It made me feel so nostalgic because I really missed this type of movies, my 12 year old it's alive again. I love them, this is a perfect cast.
Josh is so well spoken
Love everyone’s answers and ahh I love how Tom just calls his character coryo haha that was kinda cute
everyone is so well spoken and throughout with what they have to say, it's really impressive and i love interviews like that
I love the questions this interviewer asked! Give her a raise!
Loved her knowledge and the fact she is a fan of the franchise and world. It really comes through and brings a genuine and authentic interview
I just want to applaud this interviewer because I recognize a good one when I see it!
I'm so happy to see my baby hunter Schaffer on the big screen. ❤
Tom did so well in this movie. He is perfect. Waiting to see more of him ❤
Watch Billy the Kid
What an incredible interviewer omg
Articulate, insightful answers from everyone in the cast.
Wonderful interviewer, and the cast had such wonderful answers! Everyone was so well spoken! Genuinely my new favorite interview.
Quite possibly the best interview! The questions were so amazing and the cast with their answers so well thought out ! 🙌🤗
this was such a great interview!!
No because I can relate to Hunter with all the uhs, ums, like, yk😭😭
I am so excited to see this movie. But I think the story of Sejanus Plinth is gonna be interesting. Im waiting forward to it

Tom almost spoiled it in the end 😅😅😅
Great interview she was on point with questions
Loved the movie, specially because these actors did an amazing job!! Very impressed with the fantastic acting and wonderful singing!

Omg, that's rachel zegler from zed zasso!
The interviewer couldn't say the main characters name or Panem 😂 like come on.
I want that to be a movie
4:28 - 5:48 josh looks so unimpressed lol

I think jamie lee curtis should be in the new hunger games movie
i love this so
Yuk zegler
Looks like snow white finally found one of her dwarves
Weird weird
If Rachel is not in this movie, it will be a big hit. She basically made a hater club
Rachel is fantastic in the movie
Her hate dying down. Which is good because she didn’t deserve it
Didn't know it had Zegler, I'm out.
