Manang village is one of the most prominent location in the tourism map of Nepal. Its like Namche Bazaar of the Annapurnas. Its the main acclamatasion point of a world classic trek. Every year it caters to atleast 50k foreign trekkers and another 100k Nepali tourist/trekerrs. It has all the facilities a world class destination has, except the tarmac roads.
If tarmac roads were there to manang, the prices would go be similar to alaska or finland. So thank god there are no roads.
So dont be suprised if all the conviniences are avialable in manang. One more thing, due to the arrival of indian bikers, the prices of manang has gone north and made Manang unattainabke for the Nepali middle class tourists.
And one more thing. Nepal is a really poor contry, but nepali folks are rich. A nation which buys hyundai i10 for 20 lakhs india currency i.e 32 lakh NC is not poor. And almost all of the nepali middle class folks can buy buy hyundai i10

You need to do rara lake, it will be adventurous in any season.
We have a lot of options for pickups- the mighty toyota hilux, ford ranger, mitsubishi triton , isuzu dmax, mazda bt50, nissan navara, volkswagon amarok, ssangyong musso,gwm poer, jac t8, foton tunland, mahindra bolero camper, mahindra scorpio pickup and more.
Toyota is the most desired brand here and most of the models in its lineup are 4wds- landcruiser 300 series, landcruiser 70 series, landcruiser prado, hilux, fortuner

@@supremeleader5516 not everyone drives lc but yeah ratio of japanese cars to other cars is more than that of india. Its not because people are very rich here but it is because when nepalese buy expensive car they buy japanese cars and when indians buy expensive they buy german.
Our plan was to do Rara Lake but coz of some other plans have to skip this time. will be doing it soon

@@Dipeshgiri7 the government try every year but the flow to water during monsoon destroys everything my real chacha is a government horticulturist officer last year when flood came in manang he came back to pokhara one day before the flood and next day his whole office got vanished in pokhara and same in 2021 i think it happened in jomsom with him. Living there is very dangerous because u never know what is about to happen 👍
