    Camp nou does not cost 1,5b. It costs 850-950m. The rest of that goes to a basketball arena and a a hotel

      @bigpunisher9366 9 месяцев назад

      It will probably increase during the construction development, just like the Bernabeu which was estimated to cost around that sum.

    • @jacybongo2589
      @jacybongo2589 9 месяцев назад +1

      @@bigpunisher9366 the bernabeu's cost increased yes due to the external factors like war in Ukraine and inflation, that's true. But the biggest reason for the increase from bernabeu is the addition of the removable pitch. That wasn't there at the start of the project.

    One clarification, morocco doesnt plan (at least now) building the oujda stadium. It was planned for the 2026 bid.
    Sadly, and As of now, no budget was allocated to building this project, perhaps after 2030.

    • @z0rO999
      @z0rO999 9 месяцев назад +2

      Mister bot, what you said is wrong in so many levels.
      The money for the stadium well return doubled after the world cup.
      Morocco has a growing diverse economy, and with recent gas discoveries will finally, have a positive income.
      Hence the economical stability.
      As for the social one, we have some issues sure but not enough to be labeled as a disaster.

      @@z0rO999 you are talking as if they have won the world cup bid, their economy is doing bad Ethiopia has overtaken them and now Kenya is just behind them in one or two yrs they will also pass them they should stop wasting money and think coz they Will not host the world cup I can guarantee you that

    • @z0rO999
      @z0rO999 9 месяцев назад

      @@francisakatsa3178 you are talking like your living in 2010.
      Morocco has won the 2030 bid, along side spain and portugal.
      And will host either the opening or the final.
      Morocco's economy isnt crumbling or collapsing anytime soon.
      Its pretty much as diverse as it could be.
      The only thing that its lacking is it own energy resources.
      Which explains why the gdp is low.
      Morocco's economy isnt by any means "bad".
      You have africa's number 1, car manufacturing.
      You have an important agriculture sector, that exports to west africa and Europe.
      You have a thriving fish industry.
      You have the best fertilizers companies in africa.
      You have various rare ressources, cobalt being one of them.
      Soon, car electrical battery giga factories will be build in morocco.
      You have an important tourism sector. Being Second to egypt and not by a large number.
      All plains in the world have at least a moroccan made part in them.
      This is by no means, "bad, crumbling, collapsing economy"
      The only things like i said holding it back is the energy resources, which are very expansive. And so it takes a toll on the economy.
      Other than that, its a growing economy, and after the gas reserves start to be exploited (guercif,laarache,gharb ....) the economy will skyrocket
      And the world cup, will only be a catalyst for that growth
