70km flight (to see my parents and back) on Monday. I climbed above the clouds to enjoy the scenery. Unfortnately my camera is not able to catch such beautiful view :-(
I shared this video 8 years ago with my kiteboard group and this video right here changed my life…did research for the next few years and finally took lessons and now here I am 3 years of flying paramount …WHAT AN INSPIRATION!!…thank you for the life changing events..
omg, I feel like I am about to pass out just watching you fly so high.. lol. It's my dream to do something like that.. except I am terrified of heights
My greatest fear is of heights. I am terrified by just the thought of being up there. But I fly a powered paraglider, a paramotor. Don't let fear stop you from doing what you dream. Almost every pilot I know is scared of heights.
jonathan oxlade I remember PG in Alps with some 5000m AMSL with no oxygene problems. With PPG you don´t need to worry, paramotor will suffer from lack of oxygene (combustion) and lack of air density (propeller) much earlier than you will and will simply refuse to climb to dangerous height
I did a skydive the other day with total cloud cover - the first time I've done that (40 jumps total), and it was awesome - Seeing the clouds coming towards you like they're an ocean, then shooting through into gray, darker gray, then popping back out into sky. Nothing beats that view - this vid makes me want to pick up paragliding!!
It is a wonderfull video. I am a pilot of plane, and imagine what you felt upthere with nothing araund you. It should be something special. Congratulations...!!!
I have watched this video it seems a hundred times. This is exactly why I will be getting a PPG soon. It seems the only place on this earth to get get some real peace. Amazing!
I fly planes and we fly at 2000 feet sometimes and he is definitely higher than that. He better watch out for us as we will also watch out for him. Much love to the aviation community!!
Great stuff ! so glad to hear so many of you coming to this flyers defense. Until your feet leave the ground and you are pilot in command.you will cannot understand.
all he has is visual... which makes it dangerous and unsafe for him, other aircraft and ground people and property to be up there that high without absolute clear sky. Birds are hit everyday... and the sky is there's. So...
Rambo music is the only thing worthy enough for this badassery. Shit when I go to visit my parents I have to pack up the kids and drive a mile in traffic to the other side of the city. This guy is like, "I'm going to visit my folks. I think I'll take the above the clouds route."
My brother in law got trapped above the clouds once in a Cessna 150. He finally found a hole to drop through, and had enough gas to get back to his airstrip. Had it been me, I would have descended through the cloud bank in a properly trimmed aircraft as it's pretty flat around here.
It was illegal, but amazing to see. I hope you fly safe, you knew it was just a layer of stratus/cumulus clouds and you could get above them. Smart man. Hope you fly safe!
I did something similar in a powered parachute a decade ago. It was the most spectacularly beautiful view I've ever seen. Hope the FAA doesn't see this video though...
it happened to me too, there was a little cloud in the valley I did no want to enter so I climbed over it and all of a sudden I was like a boing with clouds everywhere beneath. It was a nice moment but then i desperatelly started to look for a spot where to escape. I eventually have managed. I would definitelly not want to decent through the clod.
I'v had this happen to me in a Grumman. We got caught by sudden and very unespected development of very low clouds after take off. If we had waited only fifteen minutes we would have aborted the flight. Fortunately, we had enough fuel to get to a front that was clearing. But, it kind of sends a chill up your spine. Especially when there are hidden mountains in that soup. You have no idea how it might eventually turn out.Makes you feel insignificant.
Nice video man. I remember my first time flying in the clouds. Such an Amazing feeling but also such an eerie feeling not being able to see your wing and being surrounded by white in all directions.
Thank you for the fantastic video ! Years ago, I was flying my ultralight and encountered a wall of clouds at 1500' AGL that was perhaps 1000' thick. I flew back and forth along the edge of the cloudmass for a good 20 minutes debating whether to fly on top of the deck...training, rules, fun, FAA, rules, fun ,danger, rules, fun, midair collision, rules, fun. Fun won out, and it was much like your flight, except I didn't have a camera along. Your video with great music brought it vividly back. Thank You
Another ISIS fundamentalist heard from: always marketing and trying to convince educatedm rational folks their greedy , power-mad, human-conceived, anti-science, homophobic, misogynistic tax dodging fantasies exist in reality and everyone MUST accept them or burn in their imaginary hell. TOO ironic that religious zealots objected to and sometimes destroyed early aircraft as "an affront to our lordie who never intended men should fly and is an attempt to reach and deface heaven." It is the fucking 21st Century for chrrissake... how long will it take for more readily available education to eliminate religious tyranny and discrimination?
Swampy Dave What the heck...? Did you have a seizure typing this? Look, I go back and forth with belief, BUT I am always inspired by creation, God's, man's or nature.
we have all done it , sometimes by accident or just to burst out the side of a cu nimbus and have vivid blue in front and look behind a perfect snow white cloud , i know its stupid but its a must see ......been flying for over 30 years
hi, thanks for comment. It is often a bit sad job to cut and delete nice parts of the flight (or any other interesting event) record, however I think that to keep video short (edited down to just one song/soundtrack) is in case of PPG the only way to avoid boring, static result.

That was absolutely incredible. Thankyou for posting this. You really have chose an amazing path.
I did this exact same thing many years ago, in a powered parachute. It was an experience of a lifetime. Thanks for the memories...
A great flight and fabulous music to accompany the video. Thanks for sharing it.
that's got to be the coolest thing to float through the clouds !! and feeling the moisture of them
You like feeling moist?
Descending through the clouds was SO COOL. IFR without instruments.. I bet that was eery...
I love your videos
Awesome video.. Beautiful.... Dream come true... Music that matched the situation too.. BRAVO ...!
omg, I feel like I am about to pass out just watching you fly so high.. lol. It's my dream to do something like that.. except I am terrified of heights

VaeVictis122 Thank you for saying that!...I too am afraid of heights or more accurately afraid of falling and yet I dream of flight.
What's the max height before you need oxygen
jonathan oxlade I remember PG in Alps with some 5000m AMSL with no oxygene problems. With PPG you don´t need to worry, paramotor will suffer from lack of oxygene (combustion) and lack of air density (propeller) much earlier than you will and will simply refuse to climb to dangerous height
jonathan oxlade Hypoxia!

heettreet Can't agree more. Perfect music for a great flight!
Brilliant, we love surfing the clouds - theres not much that beats a bit of cloud surfing
I did a skydive the other day with total cloud cover - the first time I've done that (40 jumps total), and it was awesome - Seeing the clouds coming towards you like they're an ocean, then shooting through into gray, darker gray, then popping back out into sky. It is a wonderfull video. I am a pilot of plane, and imagine what you felt upthere with nothing araund you. It should be something special. Congratulations...!!!
Take bit of a leap of faith I'd say to come down through the clouds......you don't really know what may come through it ....fantastic video!
If it was me, as soon as I saw that hole in clouds, I would’ve done a wing-over to Han Solo my way through. 😎 cool video!
I have watched this video it seems a hundred times. This is exactly why I will be getting a PPG soon. It seems the only place on this earth to get get some real peace. Amazing!
It's amazing experience , how we can't feel free in some country and we get a happy flying
I cried it's so beautiful.
I fly planes and we fly at 2000 feet sometimes and he is definitely higher than that. He better watch out for us as we will also watch out for him. Much love to the aviation community!!

Thanks for the awesome clip Milan. Not everyone gets to experience this first hand. Great job and great music.

Awesome video. Nice choice of music also.
0:30 is just unreal. Seeing only the tips of your shoes above the clouds, man that looks incredible. Freedom to just fly wherever you want.
Amazing experience.
Like it..
It was illegal, but amazing to see. I hope you fly safe, you knew it was just a layer of stratus/cumulus clouds and you could get above them. Smart man. Hope you fly safe!
Nice mate, challenging yourself always brings interesting results, the joy this sport brings me and others makes me appreciate the time we live in

Grandiose music!
your comment is totally uncalled for, I am a microlight pilot but I have total respect for all types of pilots out there, powered or not.

The Rambo soundtrack was an excellent choice for this video

All Inspiring, God's Glory is Found Everywhere even Above the Clouds...
