I love that they told the Knight, don’t show fear in regards to Seasmoke but then Adam is hauling ass! lol
I had the same thought!
In Addam's case that wasn't an issue because he wasn't trying to claim Seasmoke. It was Seasmoke, "Hey, you smell just like my last rider, so you are mine!"
I think they keep showing that blacksmith family because he is a Targaryen and will become a dragon rider. The blonde hair and the attention to his story makes me think he will be someone important

I agree with you. They have to be spending this much time on his character for a reason. It only makes sense that he would end up being a dragon seed/ dragon rider. Why else would they address his lineage so specifically?
I had no idea those two were from Raised by Wolves! Although, the guy did look familiar to me...I couldn't remember where from. I loved that show, and was pissed when HBO didn't bring it back.
Mysaria, The White Worm .... I am not even sure what being a white worm means! I just can not stand that accent. It is so out of place since no one else on the show talks like that. Mush Mouth! I love that she gave her council to send fresh food. I think that is my favorite thing that Rhaenyra has done so far. Also, that slap was awesome! Go Rhaenyra! Great view! I thought this was one of the BEST episodes of the whole series so far! The scene with Alicent and Aemond. The scene with Aemond and Aaegon... the scene with the dragon riders.... all of it was outstanding! 👏👏👏
Oh yay! That’s was fast! The scene with the guy trying to ride Sea Smoke was hold your breath riveting! I thought it was Henry Thomas too for a minute.
Aemond is so scary. What’s he going to do next.
So I knew about the actress from mother but did not put Father actor together which is weird bc I loved his face and I always remember faces. Anyway I agree we need Otto back. Though I don’t like him he’s a great actor and character who is needed. I’m really annoyed with Damon’s storyline get on with it! Something better happen in those next three days Alice!

I'll admit ...this episode wasn't the most exciting. But that could becuz its hard for me to concentrate given the truly exciting news happening in real life.

The Dragons are the ultimate weapon but also a resource hog that the burden kingdom does not have the resources to easily support. You can see why they are destined to be starved out in a few decades.

Thank you for sharing your opinion about Hugh and the Small Folk. I find it jarring and totally taking me out of the story and my mind it starts to wander!
So much happened this episode, dragon riders , fails, the riots in kl, armies moving to hh, daemon story line finally moving forward.
I agree just moving slow and certain scenes can be cut.
This time it is a mistake not to have read the book, Fire & Blood which is deliberately written as an obtuse history, leaving up to the reader to fill in the blanks and try to figure out what actually happened. This is exactly what the show is doing. It is not following just the bare bones of the history as it is written as there wouldn't even have been enough material to fill a single season.
But yeah, I agree that there is too much filler which is at HBO's direction. There is only 130 odd pages of text covering The Dance and HBO wants to squeeze 3/4 seasons out of it.
I think the season finale is going to be a battle at Harrenhal since Aemond is having two fronts come to Dameon and Dameon is still there 😫
That would be terrible. Daemon playing Aemond by abandoning Harrenhall & capturing KL instead, his most memorable move from the book.

Yes ... Sheepstealer was mentioned, by the Frey's I think, in an earlier episode... Perhaps Rhaena will this one.
It’s getting boring. Season 1 was great, but season 2 is slow as shit and 2 episodes shorter 🙄. I keep waiting for something meaningful to happen, but even Aegon getting roasted was so so. Like can we please get to it already? I don’t give two fucks about Rhynera kissing Massandre, like no one gives a fuck. Let’s get some action going. What is Daemon even doing? Just being boring for the entire season ofc in Haronhall doing literally nothing 😵💫😵😵💫🥱

First they mention the Gay Abandon then the next scene we Alyn shaving his head. Just like Leanor used to do. The Free Cities (Laenor's new home) is mentioned, too. They keep teasing hints that callback Laenor ... but no cameo... yet!
