Thanks! This helped me open mine, and fix the imbalance issue. For some reason, removing the plastic cover on the speaker half resolved the problem, and not cleaning the earwax. I don't know why, but it did, so if you cleaned your earbud perfectly and it still doesn't work, maybe try that!
For me, removing the cover that was removed in 2:17 and not putting it back in fixed the issue. I have no clue why tho, probably signal issues because of the slightly different bend on the connector that this causes
I have Samsung galaxy buds ( the first version) The left one stopped working once I dropped it from my hands. I don't know how to fix :'( My country's samsung customer care doesn't deal with buds
To anyone seeing this comment, I have a problem with one side of my earbud and it is that it has a very low volume compared to my left one. Whenever I squeeze it though, the volume goes back to normal and slowly decreases back to its current state in a few seconds.
@@v4led Okey, now i found a solution for it, if you have samsung. Go in the ,,Settings'' --> Accessibility --> Hearring enhancements --> Left/Right sound ballance and set it up. It works for me, i hope it will work for you too.😅
Came here trying to find a fix for the same issue. My right side got clogged (gross!) I was mowing the grass and was very sweaty and it became very loose, and like a dummy I just showed it back up in my ear. Basically I turned my earbud into a squeegee (barf/yuck!) Anyways. After watching this I just took a pair of needle nose pliers and held the sowing needle and pried the metal mesh off and I gotta say they sound AMAZING now. I'm honestly thinking about tearing the left mesh off now. Also: I placed the mesh into the back of the Silicone tip after removing the black filter paper
@@trumpetsuazo wasn't easy. But since then I seen on another video if you use a hair dryer and heat it up the glue loosens up and you can get at it with less effort.
@@strifeification wait, so, are you saying that you managed to remove the little silver grill without opening the bud at all and clean it from outside?
