    I bought Weeping Moss less than a year ago and it was not growing great on some wood so I removed it "completely." I do use a fertiliser but have no CO2 and I have a basic setup. A few months ago I noticed a microscopic green dot on the wood and to my surprise that dot is now growing with vigour as the Weeping Moss I thought was "removed" is making a come back and it's spreading!

    I just finished decorating a 60 cm wood root with this and it looks beautiful. I have a somewhat heavily planted aquarium, all plants from Tropica and they look amazing, even the Super Reds. I do not use CO2 gas, I use the equivalent of liquid carbon, I have fertile soil with root tabs and I occasionally (once or twice per week to minimize algae) add Tropica's Premium Fertiliser. My brand of choice.

    Beautiful moss. We keep it in our tanks for years.
    The structure is a bit more coarse than most other mosses which makes it a distinctive focal point on rocks or even better on thin branches.

    I have used your moss in my design and it is beautiful, best moss ever... If anyone here wants to add moss into their tanks, trust me and only buy Tropica given they are healthy, gorgeously green and grow fast... My experience with all other invitro moss is very bad, but not thid

    Will this plaint grow in sand? Can I place it in sand inside aquarium without co2?

    • @TropicaAquariumPlants
      @TropicaAquariumPlants  2 года назад +1

      The lack of CO2 might be more limiting than the sand. It can technically be left floating so no problem with the sand.

    Hi, can i ask why is my weeping moss not weeping but seems to be growing in an erected state? thank you in advance!

    Tropica,You have no cultivars of Java moss that are weeping? Or any other trait such as compact,maybe even variegated?
    All these decades..no new sports of that very hardy and easy to grow moss?

    I can never get this green color as in your video, my moss turns blackish dark, only tips are light colored. What am I doing wrong?

      Hi Rizwan. In our experience lighting can be a problem and overgrown moss covering the main carpet. Hard trimming should solve the issue but as for any aquarium, a multitude of factors can contribute to the issue. We hope you'll manage to find the right balance in yours!

    What type of glue is this?

    • @TropicaAquariumPlants
      @TropicaAquariumPlants  4 года назад +1

      As long as it is non toxic and water resistant it is ok; most super glues fulfill those criteria.

    I have Tropica Wheeping moss, from tissue culture and it grows almost as fast as my Java Moss in another tank.
    But just wont attach itself.
    And the tank is almost 6 months old now.
    Why is that ?
    I cant figure this out.

      Nobody ?
      I have removed it completely from my tank.
      Ive got some saved in a jar and in a shrimptank.
      Heavily dissapointed ..

      @@TropicaAquariumPlants I got them and what a quality, wow.... But guess what?! I can work at a Swiss horloge maker now after having spent hours to attach them one strain by the strain to the tranches of my Bonsai trees..... That they fall off as soon as you pick them, I didn't know... Nonetheless beautiful moss

    Kinda look similar to java moss 🤔

    • @TropicaAquariumPlants
      @TropicaAquariumPlants  4 года назад

      Yes, with bigger fronds and a distinctive drooping growth pattern that is unique to Weeping Moss. Most Vesicularia and Taxiphyllum genus share some similar characteristics.
