here where i live moss is very prolific, my lawn is mostly moss. Its fun to go hunt for new species of moss to try and grow, though some types seem to be very difficult.
thank you for this. i collected some moss on my last vacation, but i live in so. cal so there is really no moss i can just get from my backyard. due to this i have been afraid of killing the little moss i have so this video is quite helpful
Well done! Thank you bc I’ve been trying since March! Got some in NC Got sick so I couldn’t tend to the moss.. rescued some but I realize … well, Ty Ty Ty 🤗
I've been looking for a video about moss because I want to start covering my whole yard with moss. This is the most informative moss video I've run into. Sierra, you are so amazing and very good at explaining. Thank you so much.
Thank you for your sharing. I am a designer and I am improving the design of moss pots. After watching your video, I know the cultivation and maintenance of moss pots. It seems that a tight lid is key to maintaining humidity.
I wish there were some nice detailed close-up shots of the moss as you named them... from my point of view (when you showed them in the beginning) all of them just looked the same... 🤷♂️
Why do you need the charcoal to filter the water when the water goes on top of the moss first from the top why does it need to be filtered after it hit the moss then goes onto the rocks?
If the humidity level is OK, it’s probably the water: tap water is a no no, try rain or distilled water. In theory, the moss should revert to green. Good luck!
She does a great job explaining everything you need to know !
She explained it well. Great demo.
Sierra did a great job on this video !
Wow! I learned so much. She’s an excellent instructor.
Can you give a close up of each moss. Thank you for this interesting topics.

Nice video. Love the way you speak
Amazing video in depth helped a alot thank you
Where can find the clear round container?
She rocks 💯
Great video. I have seen some who add springtails. Is there a reason you didn't add them?
❤
Excellent. I want moss!
Moss is great! Unrelated question, how do you get proper airflow in a vivarium with a glass lid?
If the enclosure has non glass sides then you could drill holes
Where can I find those kind of containers? They look perfect to use.
Can we not keep it open instead of closing the lid ?
Really nice and clear. Good filming. Although very quiet, the silly, repetitive music is totally unnecessary.
Do you fertilize it or just water?
how to propagate a pincushion moss?
Do you ship internationally?
do you sell adult dart frogs or only froglets?

(Species) You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
Plants didn't evolve.
All life on earth has evolved over time

That sounds amazing! Any updates on how it's going?
What to do with dried moss I bought from amazon
She’s very knowledgeable about moss, and as a beginner in this field, I appreciate that. She did a great job. Thanks for posting this.
I love moss, Irish moss is super cute and one of my favorites, moss is the best
Tried that w springtails but still got mold. How do you prevent / cure that. It’s in the basement under a grow light.
Even more springtails, and crush the moss to kill it when you xan
Make sure there isn’t a pool of water
You are awesome presenter, Sierra!! 💖
much love from the philippines! thank you maam

BBC Click programme reports that moss is being grown in stacks on the precinct in some towns because it takes out the carbons from the air.
Thank you. Interesting. Music is a bit annoying.
About how long before you start to notice the moss spreading?
I appreciate the mic
Cool!
Thank you
Why do you need the charcoal to filter the water when the water goes on top of the moss first from the top why does it need to be filtered after it hit the moss then goes onto the rocks?
because it will evaporate from the rocks, then condensate on walls, and precipitate. it will cleanse the water as it cycles this way.
I know this video is a bit old. but does anyone know what yellowing moss means? not enough charcoal? It is definitely in a moist environment.

@@ChouquetteBCH Thank you for the advice. I will definitely try that.
Can the moss be kept without closing the lid in an open tray?
