When you have squatters, do what I did. I gave a copy of the house keys to a guy who paid them a visit, and the next morning, the house was empty. No questions. No fuss. I could care less what actually happened. EDIT: I forgot to add, I only paid him $2k which is about a month's rent. Best money I ever spent.
The lease is probably legit. They just say “alleged” to make us think they aren’t suppose to be there when the law says they can. Inside Edition isn’t honest they just want the attention and ad revenue without addressing the real issue (the stupid laws).
